BTR4 is an apc armed with a 30mm cannon Correction BTR4 is an IFV armed with a 30mm cannon.. Correction BTR4 is a tank destroyer and an IFV but carries more men than many ifvs so somehow also has an apcs troop capacity... Impressive

I think ifv and apc work pretty well for the btr as it does a similar job to the apc but it also has a big gun and no it is not a tank destroyer despite what some channels may tell you such as "the infographics channel" as they do not tend to do the most research and they just follow what eachother say, the btr4 is purely a replacement for the rather outdated btr60s which are apcs but of course it has big gun so why not use it.

The BTR-4 has got High-explosive loaded, you can see “ОФ” which is the Cyrillic acronym for high-explosive selected in the top-right side of the screen. There are typically Armor piercing rounds after every few rounds in HE belts. But even with that in mind, there is no way any of those rounds were going to destroy the tank. A mobility kill at best.

I really don't see how the Russians can let the Ukrainians get this close to them

You have to be realistic. Only a divided Europe, Australia and the US support the Ukraine. BRICS, the whole of Africa, the Middle East and the whole of South America doesn't support you. You guys think these soldiers on foot are moving up on a live tank that hasn't been disabled yet? And no, shooting through your OWN troops isn't "the best thing" in that situation. Lots of call of duty players who think your own rounds don't team kill. Watching that video with a USMC track commander who was in Fallujah with my brother along with a few other armored Marines the gunner would have got his ass handed to them later by the grunts on the ground. That's when the original comment was made. Since all you armchair generals seem to know more than a few combet vet marines including a Capt with a bronze star I'll bow to your extensive experience in combat.
