This channel has improved so much. I remember it popping up on my feed with clips from Afghanistan and Africa a few years back. Now there's full, chronological analysis, with commentary, maps, unit names, equipment used, etc... and the visuals are stunning. It feels like I'm watching a cutscene from BF/CoD. Thank you for the hard work, and information!

i would remove the sound effects, theyre jarring and make the whole thing seem a bit silly. the graphics are great but stop the sound effects, they sound like something a teenager would do for a gaming channel.

@@jgw9990faster than that, on average soldiers can move upwards of 13 miles per hour, with ceramic plates and a rifle, I stayed next to a truck that was doing 15 miles per hour. My average ‘walking’ speed is 4.2 mph

@@micaheiber1419 for drone shots and the like it’s completely understandable. But editing out the original audio and putting in unrealistic sound effects that don’t even match the video makes it less authentic and almost feels like censoring.

Best war video I’ve watched on the Ukrainian war TO DATE. The editing makes me feel like I’m watching video game footage. The sound effects on soundless clips are much appreciated. I didn’t even realize the LMG and tank fire sounds were edited in. Bravo

Love the visual editing! In my opinion though, you don't need the snipped sound effects repeatedly reused for gunfire or atmosphere, it actually cheapened the feeling a little/felt a little cringe - otherwise again, great work :D

The use of the micro-uav at 1:00 absolutely blows my mind. That short scene right there gave me the feeling that we truly are fighting in advanced warfare. Just the use of a tactical, personal use micro-uav for reconnaissance is insane. It's small, quiet, and can turn around corners both outside and indoors. Imagine being the Russian/enemy and hiding behind the corner, behind and under a window as a stakeout for Ukrainians, concealed in the rubble. Then, hearing a faint hum, and as you turn your head behind you, behind the wall and hallway, a tiny uav slowly appears and slowly turns towards you. In that second, imagine the absolute terror, being spotted by a tiny uav that slowly makes its way down the hallway of an abandoned building, scanning room to room quietly, all from an operator somewhere 1-2km anywhere around you, and moments away from being ambushed or an artillery strike coming towards your position. This is truly the first "modern war".

The way you made this video with the animations was really professional and it helps putting everything into context. I have a question for you tho: what do you think about the current battle of Avdiivka? I am fairly certain it’s Bakhmut 2.0 where the Russians are making the city far more important than it actually is so ukraine has to deploy its best forces which means they can’t be used on other places on the front. What is your opinion tho?

It is a bit different than Bakhmut, a Ukrainian commander stationed in Avdiivka recently posted a video where he explains that it's a stronghold fortified since 2014 with extensive networks of tunnels and strong concrete fortifications. Also Ukraine is far better armed now, compared to Bakhmut. The soldier said "don't panic, and let the AFU do its job" pointing out that Russia will never be able to take that city, no matter how much meat they throw at it. Bakhmut was the final nail in the coffin for Wagner, and Avdiivka will likely be the final nail in the coffin for the Russian regular army, because they will eventually run out of meat.

@@mrrager3475 Both sides show a lot. You don't have to search for a long time. But that is ok. Pro Ukrainian reporters show Ukrainian side and pro Russian show Russian side. Unfortunately, I don't know any that show both sides equally.

I know that for the Russians their soldiers are consumables. "At any cost" as they say. The West handed over very few tanks, and in the conditions of modern war, tanks are not the most important thing.

@@sharpfangs37 С расположением боекомплекта и то что танки второстепенной техникой поддержки пехоты согласен, но западную технику нельзя отремонтировать, имеет плохую проходимость, капризна в эксплуатации. И по итогу ее прячут в тылу а используют советскую, а солдат отправляют на мясные штурмы. Вопрос зачем она нужна тогда, прятать ее в тылу и гордиться выживаемостью и расположением боекомплекта?
