Ukraine spent the last 18 months designing, building and amassing a huge stock pile of intelligent drones. Ukraine may now be the world leader in military drone construction.. These drones coordinate with each other during an attack, and if one is lost, the rest of the cluster compensates by communicating with each other and changing the attack strategy. Right out of terminator.

​​​​@@doctorbuga4302 plus the drone swarmes could share information of areas already known or cleared etc between a combination random search patterns for detection deterant but priorities for unexplored areas of target zones , especially if one drone is engaged it can call the others to flank from all sides 😮 also they probly will have distinct sorts of drones in a swarm formation ie light fast flite scouts to high altitudes well loaded eliminate units , Friendly's only need signaling device or just stay out of the way 😂 prefer a personal device with encrypted code issued pre flight

​​​​​@@doctorbuga4302​plus the drones could fly to any position on a mission land in secluded area and shutdown in standby waiting as and when needed , the possibilities are endless really once you get a centralized AI with all the correct information coming in and organised for a self learning algorithm , not my area but it's basic old Robot in a maze tech just without walls

Footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry on April 5 showed Su-34 strike fighters employing ODAB-500 500 kilogram glide bombs with thermobaric warheads against fortified Ukrainian positions in the disputed Donetsk region. Such warheads are well optimised for neutralising well fortified enemy positions, and function by dispersing a gaseous chemical clouds into the air which are then detonated by a vacuum explosive to release a high pressure shock wave. The effect is that air is sucked out of confined areas with tremendous force, destroying buildings, caves, trenches and other fortifications and rupturing the lungs of all present in the vicinity. Thermobaric rounds have been employed extensively on the frontlines from TOS-1 rocket artillery systems, with their deployment from guided glide bombs representing part of a broader trend of such bombs being used to supplement Russian forces’ already significant artillery superiority, and thereby provide a greater firepower advantage. Russian ODAB-500 bombs are equipped with universal planning and correction modules with wing and rudder controls, allowing them to correct course during flight for greater accuracy. Despite the bombs’ high weights, the Su-34 has the highest endurance of any fighter class in the world today and can carry up to four per sortie without strain on the airframe. The Su-34 has been acquired in much greater numbers than any other post-Cold War fighter class in Russia, with production reported in 2023 to be further expanding. The increasingly widespread use of glide bombs had been highlighted with growing concern by Western and Ukrainian sources, with multiple Ukrainian personnel in January 2024 having informed the New York Times that a new Russian strikes using these bombs imposed “additional devastating power,” and with 500kg of explosives could thus obliterate their underground bunkers. One serviceman compared the impact of Russian glide bomb strikes to “hell’s gates,” stressing that the Russian Air Force “would send them two by two by two, eight in an hour… It sounds like a jet coming down on you.” The use of thermobaric warheads has reportedly made Su-34 sorties significantly more lethal still when targeting fortified positions, with this kind of ammunition having been widely likened in Russia to flamethrowers for their special function clearing trenches and bunkers. satellite images after the attack shows no aircraft were damaged in the attack. Wreckage of a drone that was shutdown is also visible but no aircraft were destroyed.

I am having a very hard time believing that Russia's air force is so careless that after numerous attacks on their air bases fighter aircraft and bombers are still being parked and virtually put on display. Satellites help confirm if objects do appear to be destroyed aircraft, but must verify if they are REAL or not. The fuselages of unrepairable jets make excellent decoys.

9000 Ukrainian civilians dead in 2 years (UN), mostly the result of being handed rifles and told to fight Russian tanks. 32k Gazan civilians dead in 6 months. 500-700k Ukrainian military dead in 2 years. I really doubt if Russia had been bombing Civilians at any point in the 2 years they'd only be 9,000 dead.

We know what happening on the frontlines. Russia has took less land than Ukraine managed to take during it’s supposed failed offensive. How can people class one as failed, and the other as a success again?

@@kylegill4932 If that is what you know you are being lied to. Ukraine barely took anything. Russia is gaining much more land now. Land is not the real metric here - that should be troop casualties which is going some 10:1 recently having been some 3 or 5:1 from the start (in favour of Russia in case you haven't been told). Equipment losses is another big problem for Ukraine (and fresh equipment supplies would be a disaster if they still had troops to man them). But if you want to count Land Grabbed over the 2 years it is something like 20,000 sqKm gained by Russia and 7,000 sqKm regained by Ukraine - so that metric has Ukraine losing big time too. And the famous 6000 sqKm gained by Ukraine in 2022 was actually just handed over by Russia - Ukraine didn't win battles, Russia just retreated - not surprising given how much land in the North they gained with 50k troops - much less land was given up in the South as that was Land Russia wanted to keep.
