Dear Olena, the 3 Ukrainians living with us in NL have a place here as long as is needed. We (my Dutch GF and me as a German) will vote for support of Ukraine as long as it takes, and for reconstruction after. Im sorry we are not sending even a fraction of what we could, but please know we are pushing for more. The longer it takes the less chance russia has, yet it comes at the cost of more heroes lives. Its a cold calculation. But Ukraine will win, and my GF and i will continue to vote for those that among other good interests, have Ukrainian support at heart!

And had more celebrities and politicians visit than at any other time, what a surprise. They have had billions in aid given to them and state of the art weapons....something very dodgy is going on in my opinion.

u mean fighting an army with many times their hardware and equipment (at the start) and now having to cross minefields that would make the korean DMZ blush? countless countries have audited their aid to Ukraine. small scale corruption, like in many organizations was found, but nothing dire. and Ukraine seems to be cracking down on corruption wherever its found to the expert's satisfaction. the state of the art weapons are keeping countless cities safe. when did you hear of a major attack on Lviv or even Kyiv? as for tanks and AFVs, in a mine heavy, arti heavy environment with no air superiority like NATO always has, those vehicles will get disabled, need time to be recovered and repaired. However, their crews survive, mostly unscathed. Dont forget that some aid is purely financial to keep their country running. they need to import energy, medical supplies, they need to fund healthcare and pay for foreign aid at times. Its easy to spend billions in a year and a half when your economy has been fucked, your industry has been damaged and you have 40 million people to take care of on the flip side, a few billion, while it seems a lot, is less than pocket change for the western coalition. we tend to deal in hundreds of billions or trillions as a collective for similar things if we gave Ukraine 1% of combined western and partner GDP for 1 year, they would be able to outspend ruzzian military spending for a decade, we pay more in subsidies to oil companies than we do for the Ukrainian defense, one destroys our future, the other stops a dictator
