You know what? Apparently, the pipeline system in Ukraine is responsible for transporting almost all the remaining Russian gas exports to Central and Western Europe.
Despite being shelled and bombed by Russian forces daily, Ukraine continues to facilitate this trade, worth over $100 million daily.
Russia agreed to pay transfer fees totaling $7 billion over five years as part of a deal with Ukraine.
Despite calls for European countries to stop relying on Russian gas, Ukraine cannot afford to cut off this important source of revenue and leverage over its Russian occupiers.

The gas imports to Europe are now more down that in 2010 , not to say that Poland was imported in 2021 more than China , now they import 0 , not to say that nowone freeze in Europe

So, they can't deploy all their troops and military power for fighting Ukraine. In short Russia is handicapped and still have economic ties with Ukraine because the pipeline passes through Ukraine.

Unfortunately, it is so, but exports have decreased significantly, by half. On October 1, Gazprom cut gas supplies to Moldova by 30%. On November 1, 2022, Gazprom stopped supplying gas to Italy. As of December 1, 2022, Gazprom reduced gas exports to EU countries by almost half. On December 20, 2022, a pipeline with export gas to Western Europe through Ukraine exploded in Russia. On December 23, 2022, information appeared that Russia could stop gas transit to Europe at any time.
Fun fact: Hungary is considered leaving the EU just fir russian gas.

I actually find it hilarious that Europe pledged to cut Russian gas consumption over the next three years. Then wound up doing most of it in 9 months thanks to the pipeline sabotage. Of course the Balkans remain closely tied to Russian gas. So the job isn't done yet. But I remain impressed how quickly they can act with the right incentive. Governments usually promise to be done in 4 years then take 10!

The inflation comes from the just ending Covid, and sudden military spending in bulk thanks to someone deciding to try conquering nearby nations while the world isn't paying attention. Unfortunately, or actually fortunately Russia utterly botched their Regime change operation, Ukraine lasted more than a week, and the West started funding the largest military conflict since.... Vietnam? World War 2? Hard to know. Maybe the IndoPakistan war, or Chinese Wars.

You know i often visits the darkweb and there's a ton of Javelins, Switchblades and NATO rifles were sale there all came from corrupt Ukranian Military officials.. I can't even believe i Could buy a switchblade Kamikaze drone or Javeline just for 10K dollars about 10 times cheaper than original price..Cocainski needs to be charged of corruption
