While Libby works on the Kosmos stand Julian is flying solo for Day 1 of the UK Board Games Expo 2022.
Today it's all about the Bring and Buy, Painting Minis and seeing why the folks at Shut Up and Sit down love a wibbly wobbly Dodo egg !

Boxed Meeples is a growing Boardgame KZread Channel, with over 500 subscribers built over 6 months of active content creation. We also have a presence on Twitter and Instagram.
We are Libby and Julian, a British couple that posts high quality, stylised videos twice a week. In the past we've worked with several independent publishers to produce bespoke Kickstarter videos. We are also actively involved in the board game community, having done collaborations with The Dice Tower and Foster the Meeple . We've published more than 100 videos with a number of list videos gaining over 3,000 views each. It total the channel has had close to 30,000 views.

We spied you both throughout the day. Libby working hard and Julian chatting with the stalls. We had a great day. Managed to find another babysitter last min so we were free to enjoy which was great. Played some fun games (galaxy trucker, scout, Skora and a few others). We impulse picked up Fire Tower that looked a fun simple abstract game and a fair few smaller games. Gosh even they were heavy by the end of the day. The prices seemed pretty good on lots of the stands and I noticed lots of people asking about discounts when buying more than one game which seemed to be a thing. Great first trip and will absolutely be back next time. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

You should have come and said Hi although it was a super busy day for us both. Sounds like you had some luck finding games, so many people walking about with Scout! It is nice that so many are selling games at sensible prices and there's bargains to be had in the Bring and buy

I enjoyed it, but I simply dont have the free hours to paint them. It was a lot harder than I remember !

Yes I changed to a tighter one. We have been wearing them in very busy areas, just to be safe
