He's a prophet of God and God sometimes takes His chosen before danger can get them. If a man can singlehandedly change the fortunes of an entire nation in 5 years, what excuse do we have for not solving the problems and issues affecting our wellbeing and productivity?. I mourn him like a dad but I thank God for taking him while he was at the very top, that way, even his many enemies will be forced to only confess Dr Pombe's great achievements for generations to come and no shame, defeat, corruption, amorality shall ever be associated with his name. I personally will miss his humanity and mischief greatly on top of his illustrious achievement record. He's a beautiful human being, in many ways he reminds me of the former ruler of UAE, Sheikh Zayed who vision, dedication and love for his people transformed UAE from a fishing community to the Country we know today. Uncle Magu saw the promised land but we have no excuse not to enter it but first we must put God first, KAZI na kifua mbele and love one another. Truly, this man was a man of God, we just didn't see it while he lived amongst. Finally, I think we should all make a pilgrimage to Chato at some point in our lives to honour his legacy and walk in his foot steps. Generals don't die, lala Salama🙏🙏
