Thanks for another excellent HuaHua reaction! HuaHua is truly one of the best actor/singers, he's fearless on stage and never fails to convey his emotions. As you noticed, this is not one of his own songs, neither is it his story. Hua's parents divorced when he was a toddler and he was raised by his father, a businessman always traveling away for business, he was raised by nannies that he rejected, wanting the love of his father only. That's where HuaHua draws his emotions for this dark/sad song. On subjects that HuaHua deems important, he will always find a unique way to convey his message, like this song is originally a rap song in which the theme of domestic violence is completely lost. HuaHua, when challenged to rearrange this song in 24 hours thought that it's an important matter and found a way to draw attention on domestic violence, how harmful and terrible it is. This performance doesn't leave anyone indifferent. Vijandra here in the comment section recommended you his two trilogies about depression, they aren't sad songs, rather beautiful melodies with very deep and impactful lyrics. You will find them on the channel Hua Chenyu English Subs: 7 Personalities/I really want to love this world/Madhouse/Conversations with Martian Children) and the Hope/Healing trilogy. (I really want myself back/Meet when the flowers fall/Lets go watch the sunrise together). You have to know that HuaHua is a great thinker and he writes songs about what he's going through with a will to convey a message/make his songs helpful to others., Therefore, he does have some sad songs or art performances, he also has melancholy and very poetic songs/ballads and he also has cheerful and happy songs or aggressive rock/rap songs. He's not just all about drama and is quite a fun and cute person. We only recommend you these thematic series because we're interested in your analysis as a psychology professor. ❤

So the show he was on in this video was called =is where the professional artists like Hua Chenyu gets challenged by people by having the people choose a song for the artists, and the artists has 24 HOURS to rearrange the song and perform it.

Hua is all about making people feel the message of the song he sings. This is so well performed and always thought it should be shown as a domestic violence prevention message.

A lot of his performances he needs time to compose himself after because he puts his whole heart and soul into them. He becomes the song even if it’s not his song or his trauma. He’s had Anouilh trials in his life that he can put himself fully in it and express his feelings like no artist I’ve ever seen

That you for reacting to Hua Hua again. He is amazing in conveying emotions through music. He was challengend to rearrange and perform this song in 24 hours. The original version is a rap song. It is not his story. He added the " I still wanna call you Dad" line. He has two mental health trilogies composed by him. They are telling his stoŕy of get into, fighting out of depression ( 7 Personalities/I really want to love this world/Madhouse/Conversations with Martian Children) and the Hope/Healing trilogy. (I really want myself back/Meet when the flowers fall/Lets go watch the sunrise together).

On this show "The Next", Hua Hua was a Judge/Mentor. In early rounds, Contestants Challenge the Judges. If they beat the Judge they move to next round. The Contestant can sing anything, whilst the Judges are GIVEN a song and, (this is the truly amazing part... 24 hours to create a performance). This was a Rap song (something Hua Hua excels at), but, as you saw, delivering it as part monologue had more impact than Rapping all the way through. He wears his feelings on his sleeve, and has often encouraged fans to be kind to people struggling with Mental Health issues. You haven't seen it yet, but vocally he has an amazing voice. One of his personal favourite songs is by his own Idol (Leslie Cheung) who took his own life, as a result of public pressure against his Sexuality. He did a great version of that song "I am what I am" on Singer 2018. (ENGLISH subtitles on most of his Performances thanks to multiple Chinese speaking groups). I love the lyrics of "I am what I am".

He was so clever on that Singer 2018 Series. He told HIS story over the weeks, starting with "Qi Tian" asking why he was born to live differently, then "Child" (another stunning performance) about his lonely and bullied childhood, then "Nunchucks" his rebellious phase, and on over the weeks with songs describing his journey to discover himself, disappointment in himself and others, and ending up saying "I am what I am" so accept me for who I am. Brilliant concept.

@@cherryhh5495 Hua Hua and the others were "Judges" whom Contestants Challenged in earlier rounds. The "Judge" and the Challenger performed their songs, and the other "Judges" gave their opinions of the performances, along with saying who they "Judged" to be the winner between the two performances. The audience voted. But the "Judges" were vital as they were the standard the Contestant was judged against, and their fellow "Judges'" knowledge and breakdown of the Performances helped the audience vote (a bit like Simon Cowell and the "Judges" on various Talent Shows. Also... The "Judges" on The Next were only Mentors in the later Rounds. When they "Mentored" the Contestants who had survived earlier rounds. They were not Mentors from Round1. In later Rounds, the "Mentors" and the Contestant performed duets, which were "Judged" by the "Judging Panel" and voted on by the audience.

This song by Hua made me feel his pain through his voice. He's a true artist becoming the song itself. Another one that is so very emotional is I want to really love this world which brought tears to my eyes

Thanks for analyzing that request. It’s been awhile sense someone has reacted to that great performance! *Seven Personalities* is an other song of his that touches on mental illness. Also *Madhouse* , even *Bull Fighting* is a great one that portrays the suffering and confusion the bull is facing in the ring, after his life long “friend” raised him from a calf, only to take his life in the end. . He has suffered from depression, and also off the stage is very shy and an introvert. Had trouble in past relationships due to him not wanting to be out in public. On stage though he is at home. Thanks for reacting to another Hua song. Each one is different from the last, but all are equally amazing.

Hua Hua is an artist more than a singer, since he makes a performance like a piece of art, a journey of healing and being healed. I mean he shows the real meaning and power of art works.

This was a great choice for you to react to. So many people misunderstand addiction, whether it's to alcohol or drugs and the violence that can accompany it, all born out of some of the most dreadful life experiences. It's easy to say that you shouldn't continue to perpetrate what's been done to you but the reality of the pain and suffering needs to be worked through and not everyone gets that chance. Thank you ❤🙏

60’ and 70’s. A lot of parents seemed confused of their parenting roll. Daily beatings (not whooped) and twice on Christmas. I thought that was the norm. Until I became a parent myself. Free “Love” of the 60’s lead to messed up families of the 70’s. Many parents not wanting the “hassle” of having children, and taking their issues out on them. Belts turned into extension cords, and then just plain fist, or whatever was close to grab. Buying new Phones every week. Tell you to clean your room, and when you were done, come in and mess it back up, then tell you to clean it again. Fun times. But sad the regret they have as older lonely people. Think it effects them in time more then the person being abused.

They are musical genuiuses ahar create wonderful masterpieces! Very unique artists in different ways….Hua Hua is more theatrical and Dimash makes you feel the lyrics/music through his whole band with sound effects type of things he is able to do in one body! They don’t just sing!

Let me suggest a band of sisters called The Warning. Their lyrics have been used in an abnormal psychology class and have been analyzed by a philosophy professor. Their Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album that traces the descent of a young woman from unrequited love to obsession, stalking, and murder. Then her evil side tries to take over, resulting in a split personality (and more murders), and ending when her conscience re-emerges as the Grim Reaper to take her life. Their newest album, Error, addresses such current topics as the "truths" that are bought and sold on social media, the dangers of artificial intelligence, the lab-induced evolution of humanity, and criticism of Gen Z (of which they are part). Or the title track of their first album, XXI Century Blood, has a multiple-award winning video on our obsession with social media, to the extent that a non-participant is a nonentity.

Relationship, at what cost. How do we rationalize what his dad did. No, I can't take your rationalization for the violence that man did to his family. Where is the compassion for the victim. As a victim I have heard over and over I should "understand" where the violence comes from. There should never be acceptance for this.
