Hua Hua is a master of the stage, his performance mesmerizing. The emotions he displays in his vocals, body, face and eyes are raw and genuine. Yes, he is a great artist, true ARTIST. I love him. I went for his concert to Beijing previous year from Europe. His concerts are ideal. True macterpieces! If you didn't listen to Illusion and Reality by Hua Chenyu, just do it. You won't regret :)

Great to see another HuaHua reaction. In general it is better to watch the longer vids as he will talk about his approach. Can I suggest when you watch this again go for the longer one that includes the pre-stage interview as it will give you a different and deeper view of why he performed this cover song in the way he did ( you might need tissues). The same goes for the trilogy of songs covering about depression as I think it’s really good to know the background to the songs. I agree he is a singer who puts way more emotion into his performances than others, in the case of Fake Monk it’s interesting to see when he breaks character and stands up from the piano in the longer version. I think one other singer performs with the same emotional intensity and curiously enough he is the same age and that is Ren.

I haven't listened to Hua in a few years and have recently gotten back into him. Dimash might be a better vocalist, Talyor Swift might be a better pop entertainer, Ren might be better at pushing the limits, but if you're talking about the total package, creativity, versatility, lyrics, stage performer, ect, Hua is top of the tier list. There is one performance that tops them all, it will either leave you in tears or speechless, one of the two. It quickly got the reputation of being the saddest song in the world and I guess China didn't like that image, so it was pulled off KZread, it's really only available in reaction videos. He also completely re-arranged the song in 24 hours. I do have that video, I just haven't figured out how to repost it and get around the copyright issues. Oh, almost forgot, the song is Jay Chou's "Dad, I'm Home".
