UK Parliament prorogued until October 14

The British Parliament concluded its prorogation ceremony in the early hours of September10th.
It brings a conclusion to one of the longest sessions held in Parliament. MPs will return for a Queen’ Speech in mid- October.
John Bercow had made his anger with Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament very clear by stating: "This is not a normal prorogation. It is not typical, it is not standard. It is one of the longest for decades and it represents not just in the minds of some colleagues but huge numbers of people outside, an act of executive fiat,' he told a raucous chamber. "

Democracy dont make me laugh. The way the remainers have gone about there propagation after losing the democratic vote shows that they want to live in a dictatorship. We democratically voted to leave. The options were clear remain or leave. Not part leave or leave while still being a part member. No the vote was to leave. The undemocratic thing to do is block this from happening and dictating that we cant leave on October 31st. Boris had to do this to stop parliament making this a possibility. The only deal EU have offered us is the one presented to Teresa May which Parliament refused by a landslide. Also do you really want to be a part of the Lisbon treaty where all sovereignty is handed over to Brussels and the pound becomes the Euro? Thousands of years of history down the drain. Family members who fought in World wars to prevent this from happening must be turning in their graves to the fact that people are defending us wanting to be a part of an unelected commission. Where was my vote to say who leads the EU? If you want to comment on politics go read it for yourself and dont believe everything that Corbyn and the media say as they are straight up lying. There is a reason why the Lisbon treaty isn't been put out in the media and its because remainers certainly would not be in the numbers that they are if it was common public knowledge

Here's the thing though, we don't live in a direct democracy. It's a representative democracy. Many MPs are representing areas that did not vote to leave or won a seat post-referendum on a remain or anti-no-deal platform. To state that they are not representing the will of those who elected them shows nothing more than a lack of understanding of how our system of governance actually works. That said, he has no other choice but to fully get behind leave now, and if there is one thing you can trust about him, it's that his self-interest and ambition always comes first. It's why he's said he'll resign before he asks Brussels for an extension, and he means it. Whoever has to do that will become the most despised and unelectable person in the country. @@CaptainKenway You talk of half truths but how about three further truths because you yourself are telling a half truth in order to sow a different picture. Firstly, the truth that Parliament could have voted to stay in session in August if they were so desperate for the time to debate and secondly, the fact that the next 5 weeks is conference season and they would not have been in Parliament anyway. Lastly there's the fact they've again skipped on the opportunity to hold an election, get the mandate of the people they claim Boris has not got and stop Brexit once and for all by winning a majority in Parliament, then going straight to Brussels and either extending or revoking article 50. Instead they hide behind trying to claim they don't trust Boris when everybody knows they'll lose an election and it would be game over. All they do by refusing again is delay the inevitable as what's to stop somebody taking us out at any time after winning an election? Even if Boris goes and extends and they then hold one, Parliament cannot bind a successive government so as soon as the election is held the same will come. True democracy will win out one way or the other as what can you say if an election is held and a Brexit supporting group wins a majority? That is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Many MPs complaining or saying "disgraceful" etc. What's disgraceful is MPs trying to snuff out the result of a democratic vote, even when the majority of their constituents had voted differently to them. Shame on them.

I suspect a great many do not support this event, nobody supports the damn event outside the government itself and a few fools whom cannot understand the serious abuse of our democracy that has happened. This is literally shutting down any kind of opposition to the government including the lords themselves, they are likely outraged.
