The welds are grinded down?

Good afternoon. where to get such a kit?

What tools did you use, how did u get the board that big? Questions i feel should have been gone over in video…..

How were you able to bend up the uhmw too match the metal bottom? Looks spot on. Very professional.

It comes pre cut and bent. But if you don’t do it right away it’ll lose its shape. Had to bring it down to buddy’s shop and bend it again to bring the shape back.

Did you get the engine in ?

Did you use any glue/bond under the uhmw before drilling/bolting?

Nope just a clean surface. Cleaned all the shavings and slapped it back on.

What is the thickness of the hull? Do you think I could apply the UHMW to my boat with a factory .100 Hull?

No point, uhmw doesn't add much strength. You could have 1in thick an your boat will still dent up an crack. You have to ad a bunch of stringers an replace the whole impact area with min 3/16(.188 I think). if you don't know where the impact area is .... take your boat out and run some skinny water- any place with a dent or good scratch should be 3/16 - 1/4 if you got the hp.

Did you just tap the hull and screw into that or did you end up putting nuts on the inside?

Drill Tap Counter sink the uhmw Then yes stainless rubber washer and nylock nut to finish it off. Alittle grease tread too
