I'm in las vegas so it's all desert outside of the city police haven't bothered me riding to the trails about 5 miles from my house

Surrons are perfect for urban/suburban exploration and adventure. And they are very capable on trail. Been riding mine daily since 2020. If you can’t climb stairs on a Surron that’s on you guy. Not the Ron. Even with stock tires. Also as far as visuals, looking at my Surron never fails to give me or others a smile. That other bike your promoting? Not so much.

Just what I was thinking. I live in Donora Pennsylvania google maps it hill sooo steep they have sidewalks with railings vs sidewalks lol I've climbed two blocks worth of steps on my sur ron LBX on my STOCK sur ron LBX I've sent it over crazy jumps ride it in loose dirt and gravel. And since I modded my stock suspension (fast ace front dnm rear) with heavier springs than a few other things to the front forks about $400 I think it's even better. Although now that I got the 2023 Talaria sting R mx4 my sur ron is the red headed step child ATM I'm going to fully rebuild it after 5,289 miles on the mostly stock parts it could use the overall.. Also should point out my sur ron is a daily ride! Rain snow all year around I ride it. Have rain gear snow gear heated grips that are tie on with a USB plug easy to remove or put on heated seat cushion that straps on. And more it's never let me down have yet to find a trail that I could not conquer. Maybe a hill or two off road but they was at like a 70% incline loose dirt and gravel

I actually haven't taken my Talaria MX4 there yet. It might have the right balance between weight and power and lets me change the gear ratio digitally now I'm thinking I have no choice but to hit the spot today 😂

Have you ever rode a fat Tire e-bike? The ride quality on those big FAT wheels on both street and off-road is way better than that shitty stock Surron wheels. As far as power and torque, that is the only thing that makes the Sur ron fun, you have to pour lots of money into it for it to be proper, the suspension is a pogo stick.

I actually just ordered the talaria sting r mx4. I’m so stoked for it to come in next week. Can’t wait to shred it up on the trails 🙌🏽

I have the sting mx3 and Love it for offroading iv had almost 1 year got it in November. and all I Upgradeded so far is a 58t sproket riser bars Pegs. im still 19 19 But got a Kenda Millvill Tire up front and a Track master in the Rear. Fastace fork with 60lbs spring..Honestly stock was not bad for off roading. sure 19" is a wee small but I adapted..

It depends on what you want to do with your Sur Ron X. I wanted it as a dual sport but mostly ride off-road, the small skinny cheap wheels it comes with are terrible off-road. The much bigger FAT tires on my E-Bike are amazing on both road and street. You can always make the Sur Ron X faster with a bigger battery and controller if you want more power. As far as my CE Armor jacket, the arm pits are a breathable mesh, it flows lots of air throughout the jacket, the most airflow out of any jacket ever. You will not have any sweat and I rode with mine down in the Georgia humid summer heat.

I've actually owned my 2023 Surron LBX for about 6 months now and i will say the stock bike wasnt too too bad, i had the DNM forks on mine and im 6' 6" 260lbs so the stiffer suspension was needed for me, but there were definitely some upgrades that had to be done. Like the tires, pegs and brakes, but owning a Surron is not a cheap hobby for sure, i am already $9500 into my bike. but i also use it for doordash/ UberEATS and its also the only form of transportation i own, its what i use to commute to work and run errands.

Really, my main point is you have to mod the Surron for it to be proper and it will cost you more than I paid for my brand new MT-07 last year. To me it is not worth it but if I did delivery and commuting like you that it makes more sense. I do charge my Surron with solar power so I get free transportation, that is what I love about it the most.

My bone stock talaria sting r is excellent off road!! Jumps good but it does bottom out on big jumps so I’m gonna upgrade the suspension but the bike fuckin rips

One is a electric dirtbike and the other is a e-bike. Guess which is which. It's also important that you know how to ride a dirt bike.

You hit a root sideways when you trail rode the surron causing the front to slide it even happens on actual dirt bikes me and all my buddy's have done it. user error not the bike!

Ive got both type of bikes. Fat tyred ebike and a talaria sting r mx4. Since the talaria arrived the ebike has had nothing on its seat apart from dust...... 600ks in 2 months on the talaria and love it more i ride it.

A 72v Surron is more fun than any motorcycle I’ve ever owned including a 2019 KTM 500 supermoto. I’m also guessing you never put the proper PSI in the front forks, it comes low from factory and needs to be pumped up to around 125-150 psi

yeah you do, you pump air 140 psi in the oil one. Oil is gonna come out the bottom. you can avoid that with an air clamp.

Haters gonna hate. My 2022 Surron is mostly stock except for pegs , supermoto wheels and controller and I love it. It gets more use than my Porsche Cayman and I get to work quicker on the Surron because there are no rules, ie; wrong way down one way streets, blasting through red lights, bike paths, sidewalks, off road. It's amazing what you can get away with.

Lol dude that $1,000 bike is a disposable e-bike it will last about as long as a bic lighter 😅 If you counting pennies than sure the sur ron might not be for you. Even still wasting a $1,000 on random clone bike 🚲 is not only a waste but irresponsible. There is no such thing as a good $1,000 ebike lol maybe it's good or even great out the box sure I'll give them that but without a doubt 100% fact it will break within the 1st 500-1,000 miles. I been riding MTB BMX motorcycles dirtybikes for 20+ years I was 6 when I got my 1st mini bike which I learned to ride before bicycles. I've worked as a bicycle messager I've even competed in the Red Bull rampage twice I was a sponsored dh MTB rider for a minute and was on my way to Poland to competitively stunt sport bikes my freestyle riding skills are next level. But I ran from the cops 1 time to many (over a dozen times) on the same bike took a year they tracked me down and I lost my licenses for 10years still road anyway only to add 5 more years to that suspension now the last 8 years I've learned my lesson (kind of but not really) I've taken to alternative means of travel I've spent well over 50k the last 8 years on different bikes from building motorized bicycles loads of fun but not reliable to building my own e-bikes and e scooters. I've bought dozens of factory bikes so far I've yet to find a more versatile and capable and better priced bike as the sur ron and the Talarias mx3 mx4 and XxX which are my favorite and bike I recommend. The XxX may be the one for you it's only $3,200 and is faster than the sur ron LBX. If you want real recommendations on e-bikes I know them all

My boy did a serious surron X build. He has WP suspension from the KTM 150, Fox rear shock. 72 v with a 12-speed controller. It's pretty crazy. IMO not worth 11K lol but to each their own. He can get about 70 miles though

Or if you live in an area surrounded by Karen's, the surron is way more fun than a dirtbike. If I pulled out my yz450 the cops would be called immediately, the surron on the other hand I can rip all night anywhere and never had a problem. I've also got a 2008 yzf r1 and to be honest I pretty much only ride the surron 😂😂😊

Also, when I ride my 450 supermoto in hoods I never stay long long, I'm out before any cops can come. Bust a wheelie and gtfo. lol The Sur Ron is innocent looking and more Karen friendly for sure. lol Just don't go too far and run out of power.

U can do crazy things with these I've taken my xmaxx in mud holes where I've seen quads stuck. It went right through it. Same for my K8S that's done hill climbs/jumps that would blow ur mind mind.

first of all that is not a mountain bike that is a fat tire ebike. and secondly saying that ebike does better off road than a surron x is like saying my bmx is better for the tour de france or sm shit.

Did you ever think of buying a legit electric dirtbike, I know KTM sells one and I saw one which actually had gears. The plus side on those they are actual dirtbikes. And it be interesting for content cuz I dont see any other motovlogger really have one

I like your enthusiasm. Got my Sur Ron X a couple of days ago. One ride so far. I have 3 acres to ride it on. Not a lot of room, but it will be fun. The Sur Ron X doesn't need a lot of room and it's silent. I ride dual sport and find it hard to enjoy riding on the street these days with all the traffic. I like the dirt riding part. This will allow me to ride right here at home on my property since it's electric. The big difference between your two e-bikes to me is the fact that the pedal bike you have is legal ANYWHERE a bicycle can go, and the Sur Ron is technically legal NOWHERE. You can ride that pedal bike with peace of mind. No one is going to yell at you, police will not hassle you. The thing is with me is, I dig the Sur Ron. It's just too cool looking plus it pulls wheelies. I'm sorry but I can't get as excited about the pedal bikes even though I'd probably enjoy one. That's my thoughts. Great channel.

Talaria Sting R with stock suspension is bro. Not sure if you’re tried it but it 💩 on a stock surron. Surron and Talaria bikes are a different ride tho. You can’t really compare it to that e-bike.

$4,200 sur ron 🆚 $2,000 for one of the better built China 250cc & say $500 in part upgrades down the road when things wear out. I know I know a $2000 China 250cc isn't nearly as good as a Yamaha 250 that 4 times more. But is a decent bike for $2k if you know how to take care of it & diy fix...$2k China bike is better than $4k Sur Ron China bike.

Those tires don't mean and do anything yeah they will go over rocks but pop over a radial in middle of street have intheair 45mph ebike with 26x4.75 tires they pop just like any other bike

This is an obvious comparison. But some people want cool over functionality. I didn’t waste my money. When I drop, I’ll get a real motorcycle.

SUR RON are perfect for city riders/urban. Surron is also great for those people who want like a grom but don't have a motorcycle license. I was going to get a SURRON but since I got my license might as well get a grom or z125 but I would still get a surron if I get a great deal.

I’ve had a z125 pro back in 2019. Those things are such a blast. Learned how to wheelie on it. Just recently Copped the sting r so I can learn balance point wheelies without dropping my zx6r actually 😂

I would NEVER buy a Sur Ron X. You buy it then upgrade it and before you know it you spent enough to buy something like a MT09. It's ridiculous imo. I mean which would you rather have as a fun bike Sur Ron X or a Grom? It be the Grom for me.
