I've been aware about its existence all the way back to like 2007, but I just got into it recently and discovered that I actually enjoy bullet hell games.

ZUN's comment on the track: "This is the title screen theme. Well, it's the same feeling as always. I tried to give it a particularly affected air. I want to look up at the sky while I'm walking, but I'm afraid people will think I'm weird, so I look straight ahead when I walk."

To this day, this is my favorite Main Menu theme. Its just so floaty, calm and yet it retains that oriental feeling with a small touch of adventure~

Really feels like you're soaring through the sky and gliding among the clouds while listening to this.

Wait. This Is *your* art... Oh gosh, Is absolutely wonderful!!! This art it's perfect for The title screen theme!

I adore UFOs ost, a shame its comparably underrated...

@はあちゃまの ぼにゅう my guess is usually with the actually less popular cast and many people considering this game frustrating due to the UFOs. I am glad specific characters like Nue Houjuu have gotten a recent boost due to the rise of the western fanbase and the simple "Nue" joke suiting,but compared to even ddc the fandom has less active UFO material than many other Touhou series in the past...

So happy someone else loves the UFO soundtrack, I did a big Touhou music census a while back and the number #1 most hated OST ended up being UFO..... I was so shocked/heartbroken,,,

there's no better way to start a year than with an Unidentified Fantastic OST, after all

One of my favorites for sure, reminds me that I'm chilling in the plane, I don't know why but it does give me Airport vibes and I love it. :D

I come here, not for the games, but for the music and the concepts of its universe. : )

Being more of a Touhou listener than a player, I often skip over the main menu themes of the games. But, seeing this is a new upload, I decided to go out on a limb and listen, and I’m quite glad I did. Amazing to see how much can be done with a short simple theme. Happy to have you back again, Flandre.

Los únicos menús que le hacen competencia (en mi opinion), son: El menú de touhou 2 (La versión Midi de ZUN) El menú de touhou 7 El menú de touhou 9 (la versión de uno de los álbum de ZUN) El menú de touhou 16 El menú de touhou 18 Y probablemente el menú de touhou 19

Great to see you back! Happy New Year! Now UFO's... a weird Touhou game for me. While with most other Touhou games I have a clear idea of whether I like or dislike them (mostly the former), UFO doesn't have such certainty with me, it feels like my opinion on the game changes every few months. In terms of music, it is quite inconsistent in quality for me, but there a lot of good and memorable songs, the title theme's definitely one of them (and my favourite in the soundtrack is coming up next). I'm certainly excited to revisit this soundtrack.

Might be my favorite title theme in Touhou!

Somehow I had the idea to play this on my phone while also listening to it ingame with my headphones. Somehow it really adds some dimension, even though it's the same track.

yesss! i really love UFO's soundtrack as well, so i am *beyond* happy that we're getting re-extensions now! anyways, onto the actual song. this is definitely one of my favorite menu themes in the entire series. it's very comforting and warm (unlike the actual game lol) but with a bouncy (is that the right term?) and playful feeling as well. it's such a nice menu theme to listen to!

UFO's Main Menu Theme has a really floaty feeling to it, like flying through the clouds on a sunny summer day. This theme is just uplifting and relaxing at the same time, it always put smile in my face :) Edit: Happy New Year SFF!

Music for my ear

The vibe I get from this theme: You're going back home and is afternoon, the sky is beautiful and you're chilling.. As you look at the sky, you say... wait that's weird.. what the fuck is that?? As a strange object flies through the sky.. You keep looking at it, walking around to have a better idea, but this thing is just undefinable.. The heroines prepare once again.. as it seems a new incident is taking place..

It's so hard to pick a favourite OST out of the entire series... Every time I play one of the games, I think 'it really has the best OST', but then I pick up another and then I change my mind again! That being said, there's a handful of games that have *something special* to their OST, and UFO is one of them, among PCB, IN and SA. That title themes makes me think of summer and bright blue skies, of freedom and air, of the bright shining sun warming up my skin... I'm not sure why, but it plays with my heartstrings in a very special way, and I love it for that Looking forward to the rest of the themes!
