Ronaldo Souza, who is also known in the fighting industry as “Jacaré” (alligator in Portuguese) is one of the best grappling competitors of his generation, as well as in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). Souza reached legendary in jiu jitsu after his wins over some of the best grapplers to have graced the sport, including Roger Gracie, Fernando Tererê, Robert Drysdale, and more.
Marcelo Garcia, commonly known as ‘Marcelinho’, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Master Fabio Gurgel, who competes for the Alliance BJJ academy. Having won 5 world jiu-jitsu tournaments and 4 times the ADCC (two of the most important tournaments in jiu-jitsu), Garcia is widely considered one of the best grapplers in the world, while his general demeanor made him one of the most beloved athletes by the BJJ community. Marcelo Garcia has also been featured in BJJHeroes top 10 Best Grapplers of All Time list.

Esse jogo de meia guarda do professor Marcelinho era otimo, usava bem os ganchos pra inversão raspava muito assim, mais pegou o mais cascudo da época. Nunca tinha visto essa luta. Muito obrigado
Engraçado como o jiu jitsu eh jogo contra jogo. Terere nessa época passeou no Marcelinho, que por sua vez ganhou do Jacaré, que passeou no Terere no Pan. O Roger passeou no Marcelinho no mundial mas perdeu pro Jacaré. Jogo, como o cara está no dia. Tudo conta. Lutao, bonito de ver, parabéns lendas!

I remember seeing a fantastic match between Marcelo and Jacare when they were brown belts. Marcelo almost took his back several times. Jacare kept standing and holding the sleeve so Marcelo couldn't get both hooks.
