    The commentators were wondering on who must've won right before the judges' choice was announced?! Most of the fight was in neutral positions until around the last three mins, when Burns passed the guard, secured back control and threatened with a rear naked choke. Would've been shady if the judges chose Lovato, Jr. instead. Still, great fight from these exemplary grapplers.

    Burns' wrestling is too for Lavato. Lavato can't play his usual top game, and he's not very good from the bottom. The result was expected, even though Burns is clearly the smaller grappler here.

    He has something called “cerebral cavernoma”; being that this condition effects the brain, he is not able to be medically cleared to compete in a combat sport involving striking. He can still compete in BJJ, just not MMA.
