More than two years has passed since McGregor broke his leg against Dustin Poirier back at #ufc264 in July 2021. Today Conor Mcgregor looks to be in tremendous fighting shape as his next fight is closing in. The fight will most likely be against Michael Chandler.
The pair coached this year's season of the #theultimatefighter. The fight between them were initially set to take place at the end of this year. However, today it looks like we’ll see them clash next year instead. The fight were seemingly rescheduled for #ufc300, but now McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, has stated otherwise. He believes McGregors long awaited return will take place in the summer of #2024 , probably July.
Both McGregor and Chandler suffered a loss to #dustinpoirier in their previous fights.
Michael Chandler is one of the most entertaining and exciting fighter in the UFC today. Despite losing three of his five bouts, his star power is undeniable. Because of his relentless fighting style, he has quickly become a huge fan favorite as he always puts on spectacular performances!
Now the fight has been made offical for UFC 303, international fight week on june 29! What a fight this is!

If you want to know what a UFC golden boy is, look no further than Michael Chandler. Loses most of his fights yet he gets a top 5 guy his second fight in the UFC and keeps getting main cards. Unreal.
This is just sick. Nothing creates more hype than a McGregor comeback fight. Man as someone who makes videos at times.. I gotta say... the way you build things up... It's awesome. Great job.

And honestly if he lost against chandler he could come back and fight Jorge or nate, or Justin, or max, the list goes on and on. I don't see a fighter retiring early. It's the worst decision they could make. Everyone thinks you gotta retire after a loss. Real champions get back up and go when there ready. Yes Mayweather generation. If you have a loss on your record you should retire. Lol. Unbelievable

If he can’t beat chandler someone at the top who the hell would he fight next. He’s supposed to fight for the bmf title? When HE LOST or IF he lost. The only thing he would do is maybe fight Nate for the trilogy in boxing or his own promotion because Nate already said he will NOT fight in the ufc again . I love both fighters But in my opinion Chandler is all in 100%. He's tough as nails,he can take a beating and still be giving a 100% back in a multi round fight with a win or a loss.That being said he's been fighting with out a long break partying and enjoying his fortunes unlike McGregor but It's going to be a great fight either way

This fight has been so long in the making and the devision has shifted so much, im not sure there is a big upside for connor if he beats chandler. Could you imagine if it was connor vs Max 2 for the BMF belt, that would be huge

In all reality, Chandler earned the fight with Coner. Chandler has been a company man from his arrival to the UFC. Sacrificed his body to put on some really good shows. Time for the money!

I watched Road House and thought he was a good actor and entertainer, but he is a legend in that cage. I think he is so keen to get back up to where he was but with that injury would have put someone else into hiding for awhile but McGregor is a tough chap. I love that about him, he really knows how to work up his opponent, by sizing himself up and it will be interesting what Will happen in June. I have this marked in my calendar. Chandler is so much like McGregor...so this match up will be one to watch. I know the world will be watching this fight.

It's a more like a story of paths of both fighters. Rather then a short promo.its more than that.its interesting.i can see how it was balanced between fighters to avoid bias.great job.i just don't think mcgregor hands are half as good as his lips but the match up in a way favors him due to chandler's fight style ie hands down ,coming forward.i don't think mcgregor could face anyone else today in ufc because the level of the fighters there today.potentially mcgregor could claw his way up.for chandler win would be an icing on a cake an epic end to an awesome career run.i hope God's of war will be with both.may the better fighter win.
