Still have goosebumps for the Aldo knockout. It was absolutely insane, a scene from a movie. I do not think such a build-up with such a decisive conclusion will ever happen again in our lifetime. Whoever had the chance to watch it happen live, be extremely grateful!

Seen it a hundred times but just noticed the expression on Aldo's face as he throws. Conor must've really got under his skin so his first shot was loaded up and angry, just not hard enough to knock Conor out! It's crazy they both landed! Could be a different story altogether!

I was a shit muncher just getting off work. Pulled up to a jammed packed Buffalo Wild Wings just in time for the walk outs. There was no time for a table. I just made it to the bar area. There were no seats at the bar, so I stood for one minute, then a lovely waitress asked if she could get me a beer. I replied and asked for a pint. She then walked off to get my beer before she made it back Aldo was on the floor KOd so I walked right out of there 😂

What did he do exactly? You make it like popularity & ego madness rants are something we should be proud of as a sport. The guy went on a winning streak (it happens all the time), but he never defended a belt, held the sport hostage multiple times, and has since made professional fighters look like complete brain damaged neanderthals. Great he was really popular at one time... but it was a 3-year window... almost a decade ago now. The guy sexually assaults women, punches pensioners, and has the mindset of an adult child. Grow up & get a clue.

Quite sad what happened with his career. And it wasn't only lack of motivation. It was also not being allowed to fight when he wanted to be active. Maybe if he was allowed to be active his fights would have gone different with Poirier. He wanted an active 2020 but wasn't allowed when he fought Cowboy in January of 2020 and then he fought Poirier in January of 2021. Striking wasn't the issue, he wasn't prepared for the leg kicks but I feel like at that time a lot of guys were targeting legs which no one had ever done to Conor. He wasn't prepared. Obviously he's totally different as a person now as well but I kinda liked the nice guy Conor who fought Cowboy and the first Poirier rematch. And then we get a pretty quick rematch and he gets injured at the end of the 1st round. The fact that he only fought 3 times after Khabib is just sad. He still had the skill, I know people dislike him now as a person but punch for punch he was better than Poirier in the first rematch. It was the kicks that was the difference.

GOAT Larone reminding all those who have deliberately deluded themselves out of remembering how special and singular McGregor was in his prime. We can rightly look at Anderson, a top 5 GOAT, in his prime, separate to his later loss streak, but people try to fool you into believing McGregor was average or lucky.

He was right about that fasting hungry cardio! That’s that Rocky Balboa shit! Most people competing in a combat sport coming up are broke and hungry and cutting weight and have to do their road work like that. It’s a more do or die feeling that absolutely brings u to a different place.
