There’s even evidence that the need for stable supplies of alcohol was the impetus for our shift from hunter-gatherer’s to agrarians. There are many more such cases where alcohol played a major role in the progression of our species. And, there are many other cases where alcohol was a detriment. To paint every facet of life in such an irredeemable white or black stroke is infantile.

    Back in like 2008, alcohol in a house full of UFC hopefuls didn’t even seem weird to me. And now I’m like “how the hell was this allowed to happen?!” I know the networks wanted the drama and the show sucks now, but still. Alcohol is a great way to make sure almost everybody screws up and doesn’t make it through the process with a raging addiction at the end!
