This fight at its magnitude and what izzy had to overcome and whats crazy is theres two storys in one movie because you have alex the real one who had to come through the stuggles of life to get to this point and become champ and izzy who came up very wealthy and basically plays the the bad guy because hes champ but we want him to win because we see alex as the boogieman so for him to ko alex like that no just some tko straight knocked into the shadow relms as we thought it was all over was simply amazing

Respect to both fighters. We learned a lot from Alex in a short amount of time. Poatan will absolutely be champion again. Good, humble and grounded man. If I'm Israel or the UFC I want no part of that trilogy! 😅😂It just doesn't make sense from a business stand point. Izzy finally got one against Alex in a great way, it can't get better. However, Israel knows better than anyone that he could lose that belt again just as quickly. It may come off a bit cowardly, but I don't blame him for not wanted a 5th fight. He can now be proud and say he beat him. Just to much of a risk and the UFC has a lot invested in Israel. It would just be a bad look for him to turn around and lose it again, which in fairness is what most likely would happen. 💯

No, Alex is way too heavy to begin with. He needs to go to 205, I don’t believe he can beat Jiri or Hill but let’s see. The reason why he can’t get a rematch is because now the middleweight has a few guys waiting for the title shot especially against Withaker. If Alex goes on and dominate 205, Izzy gains some weight and this time challenges at 205, you get perhaps the second biggest fight in UFC history next year.

What's with this narrative that the score is settled between Pereira & Izzy. That was a mistake by Pereira that got him caught but people act like the dude got completely dominated and should therefore move up. Nonsense, watch Pereira KO Izzy if they fight again. It's 1-1 in MMA, so the score *definitely* isn't settled. Now people are overrating Izzy again by pretending he's the middleweight GOAT because he happened to catch Pereira with a good shot, which can happen to anyone in MMA.
