    My son was lucky enough to train with Mr Van Roon in 2018, he is by far the master of movement and distance management, his instruction was invaluable in my son's progression and ability to garner a world championship silver medal in 2019 at the ITF world championship in Germany. And if you think van roons striking is impressive, you should see him jump and do ITF special technique. No one has hops like this guy, amazing to see in person. His knowledge of body mechanics is truly 2nd to none and his ability to teach anyone from adesanya to white belt kids just starting is awesome. Very humble, down to earth. And above all kind human being. Taekwondo is lucky to have him passing his knowledge to the next generations.

One of those rare fights where I wish that you could both win! Robert is always respectful, great guy and only fighter to have a chance of beating you. On top of that he is a very classy , cunning , effective striker, simply by the way he draws opponents in close then attacks whilst withdrawing with clean punches. Pleasure to watch a fighter who can actually throw a punch. The last Boxer I saw who possessed the same attributes was Ali .

    5:15 ANNNND thank you.... I try to point this out, for instance the tao of jkd has moves from judo/jiu-jitsu, wrestling, muay thai, boxing; he didn't have all the resources we do today, but was mixing alot of the same styles. Ontop of Gi grappling, headbutts, MMA-illegal techniques, etc. More than a few high level fighters even fight powerside forward: Anderson Silva-right handed southpaw, Jon Jones-left handed orthodox, Israel Adesanya-ambidextrous but born left handed fights orthodox. GSP even said recently that his "secret weapon" was that he's left handed and fights powerside forward. Just saying, alot of Lee's techniques were effective, but the real value in jkd is the concepts, the stances, footwork patterns, the body mechanics, the idea of not limiting yourself Bonus powerside forward fighters: Tony Ferguson (left handed orthodox), Dustin Porier (right handed southpaw), Colby Covington (right handed southpaw), Wonderboy often fights powerside forward too (right handed), Nick and Nate Diaz are also right handed southpaws. {All of these fighters can fight well either way, that's the point}

    Love the energy in this one, really taking it back to the more traditional taekwondo style. And I could see how much the young gunner loved sparing with the champ, so much natural fun in it. Lot’s of love champ!

    Lookin big Izzy!! 💪🏿🦍 These are easily some of my favorite videos on the Tube. It’s like Embedded but relaxed, music is always mellow and on point, and it’s close enough to get a solid feel for the energy without feelin like you’re all up in another man’s life business lol

    Izzy, after the first fight I feel you both have improved a lot. I feel this fight Whittaker will be more cool headed and not rushing in blindly like last time. I think their strategy will be to TAKE YOU DOWN and CONTROL YOU. They’re strategizing to take the belt back. I hope you’re taking this fight seriously because this will be the best version Whittaker you will get !!!

Those footwork drills and spinning hook kick 💯 the precision, flexibility, and balance behind his kicks top-notch 👏👏👏 I'll definitely love to meet Israel someday, have always wanted to visit New Zealand for some time now. New Zealand doesn't realize how much of an icon Israel is. He's a dime and his name will go down in the history books as one of the greatest martial artist/Combat sport athletes in the world, let alone to ever come out of NZ. I hope one day he gains the full recognition and support/Respect he deserves. For us fans/family who already support him, we are so lucky to witness such a special human being of this era. I need to drive to Auckland to train with this man, just to tell my kids I once did lol. Because I bet thousands wish they took the chance with Muhammid Ali.
