she's a true , experienced fighter. that's all. ronda is neither. Holm doesn't need to push any attitude to promote herself, her resume and multiple world titles speak for itself. add the ufc title, you got the only living person on the planet to hold titles in two combat sports.

What a performance from Holly, owned Ronda from start to finish.

I really hope there's no immediate rematch. Holly destroyed Rousey what if she does it again? Give Rousey a fight or two to build it up and the rematch will be even bigger!

+Eddie ™ She's a great representative of womens MMA period. She's so real & handles the pressure & media perfectly. She's transparent as fuck & a true champion (boxing aswell). She said her boxing belts meant just as much, if not more than her than this belt so it was really nothing comign into this fight. Ronda went out of her way to try & get into Holly's head like she was the challenger but it showed desperation. Finally have a respectable, true fighting champion not in it for the media

Rhonda Lousy - over-hyped, over-rated, over-exposed, over-whelmed.

I was surprised that Ronda would talk her down...she usually respects her opponents. She needs some new people around her. Ronda's pride caused her fall in some respects...that and her goofy coach.

+HolyRollerTV Nah, she just followed up with a hammer fist to Ronda's jaw until the ref called it. If she was "going in for the kill" she could have chosen to really hurt Ronda by going for the ocular sockets, temples or even just mashing her nose into her skull. Instead she gave her a couple of quick bashes to the jaw and then stopped the moment the ref called the fight. Unlike Ronda who kept hitting Holm after the bell, Holly stopped right away. She even got down on a knee out of concern to make sure Ronda was ok after the fight was over.

I can't believe how incredibly kind and warm hearted she is.

Humble.. So real.. Well done Holly 😘

Dana must be so mad at this moment because Holly just demolished that overhyped disrespectful "champ".

She's so god damn humble I just want to give her a great person prize like damn, I wish I was that nice! She's an inspiration, I did watch the fight a Ronda fan, but even in the open workout before the fight I found myself gravitating towards Holly, natural bad ass!

Holly was pure class from the build up to the end, a quiet achiever and showed great sportsmanship before and after the fight, Ronda I was a fan of hers, but now I can see she was just full of hot air. Holly has won me over well done..stay classy

Seriously how great is Holly?? "I'm definitely not fake" We know that you sweet respectful and deserving champion.. Lack of respect killed my vibe on Rousey/.

Finally someone with tact as the bantamweight champion. While I never thought Ronda was the best as there were clear very big holes in her game, I never really harped on them. Only thing I dont like about her is her complete lack of character.

Holly Holm is a great example of how fighters should conduct themselves.

i think this was the greatest thing that could happen rhonda finally got put in her place .i knew holly was gonna beat her! i am so glad this happen holly holms deserves it.i am excited to see who she is gonna beat next?i think she will stay the champ.and i can not wait to see what rhonda has to say about the fight!!!!

Holly Holms is a seasoned professional, she has a fantastic boxing and kickboxing record, this is the difference between her and Ronda.

I can't wait for the rematch - It's gonna be a totally different approach (Game plan) from Ronda next time 'round. She will probably focus a lot more on her grappling/throwing etc... If she had done this it would have been a different story. This was an eye opener for Ronda. But yea this was a spectacular fight. Congrats to Holy. I hope Ronda has a speedy recovery!

Melting Sky wish I actually looked at some of her previous fights, had I seen what I saw I would have made a lot of money 😰. I know she won a belt boxing and was ranked by ring magazine (hopefully she gets the cover next because she actually earned it).

I knew holly had a chance becuz ronda is a weak defense striker and holly is an amazing strike with great distance control i thought rousey would sub her in the second and if she couldnt by then that holly would outstrike her for a decision but never expected a ko and i m loving it ronda needed that humbling and im glad i was there to see it!

I'll always have love for Ronda Rousey, but we have to give credit to Holly Holmes she put up a great fight against the woman who started it all for the women. Ronda's passion for judo and fighting in the octagon will always be appreciated. Holly, I believe just might be the one to set the bar to a higher level, much love and respect to both women.

This was not a huge win, Holly is vastly more experienced than Rousey and has been a Champion in her own right. Everyone should do their own research and stop listening to media hype. She was only 12-0 in a new division of MMA, has no ground game just learned how to strike her only tool was the ArmBar.
