I absolutely love how Kante was clearly taking more shots and making forward passes trying to expand his game to help to team. I hate when there is an argument about using players “strengths” even though yes it’s good to do but great players should be able to expand their games/roles to help their team especially if they have high salaries(Lukaku).if Kante can do more of that this season I see us having a lot of success

Appearance of Kante gave us the first goal. I too love him ❤️

Sterling showed his potential and got the Golden Boy in 2014 when he played as a AM position below Suarez and Sturridge. If you look at him right now, he's not just playing in the side, but he's going really deep below helping the build up, dribbling in the middle with his speed, using his teammates.

As an Udinese supporter, I have to admit it has been a one team show last evening. From our perspective, nothing to celebrate at all but it was a real pleasure seeing such a great team in our stadium. Congrats Chelsea and good luck with the new season.

That pereira run for udinese goal. Those runs must be stopped at any cost because I have seen many times that our team concedes a lot of goals in these cases. That must be jorginho's job handling those runs in the middle. Watching man city vs liverpool yesterday in the community shield and saw those defensive midfielders fabinho and rodri reading these dangers. That is what we want in our team as well.

Kante is an exceptional player, really. He's evolving.

I have a doubt about Mendy form. His form nosedive from the end of last season. If Kepa gonna stay why can't we make use of him and rest Mendy for sometime. At the moment there's seems like no competition for him. That's no good for his improvement.

He may be out of form now but is at least top 10 keepers in the world, there's no reason to try find something better.

Mendy is not world class, he is average at best. The modem game needs attention to details, little better in penalty saves and good leg games. He is lacking in all. Not good enough.
