Isak back to second in the league in goals per 90 at .87 (Haaland at 1.19 is insane, but Kane's third at .75, so Isak is in good position). Had his second goal against Liverpool not been called off, he would have had 1.01 per 90.

@@markbellew4194: Ross Stewart is second to Chuba Akpom in the Championship. Stewart scores .86 goals per 90, so at a lower rate in the Championship than Isak does in the Premier League. If I'm dreaming, you're on mescaline.

Forest fan here. We were abysmal. Notwithstanding that, you lot were excellent. You honestly should be expecting champions league next season. There's nothing I've seen from Liverpool or Spurs to suggest they have that 4th place locked down. You're easily good enough to seal it.

Watched that offside goal several times now. You can clearly see from each angle that the defender makes a deliberate play for the ball. His stride lengthens to meet it and from the angle behind him you can see his foot coming across his body to kick it. It baffles me why these VAR officials are missing these clear and obvious details. Couple that with every ex player including former defenders saying he's played the ball.

You skipped the highlight of the game... Trippier tricking Navas and Shelvey into yellow cards as they tried to intimidate the wrong penalty taker. Absolute genius 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I'm still flummoxed as to how Longstaff was offside on the lead up to Anderson's goal ... yes he was in an offside position, but TWO forest players were involved before the ball hit him.

I like shelvey and I appreciate everything he gave for newcastle but tonight clearly he is targeting Bruno and probably even targeting his injured ankle. Quite disappointing really. The referee again is very very poor tonight the way forest play he should have gave 3 yellow cards in the first 10 minutes and then there's the onside that's called offside, dreadful decision. He needs to be suspended from refereeing really.

I think we dodged a bullet when Forest signing Lodi instead of us, he not very strong and one paced and Murphy bullied him at times. Newcastle need an attacking fast athletic LB to suit our high tempo system next year if were going to push on again.

"A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent." All other rules of offside are when a play is made by a team mate.
