Maggie is a superstar!!!!!!
You are the best Maggie !
Maggie, your voice is soothing. Not to say I'm not listening to you but I listen to you at night to go to sleep. I've probably listened to confidence man 20 or 30 times.
Love it, thank you for program
Fantastic conversation
She does have an awesome calming voice!
Something about beside she is a great journalist
a masterclass in journalism.
Maggie Haberman is a gem. The host seems confused.

Yeah, I was offput. She's putting a lot of 'I' in her interview. Very disappointing. I have been watching some other interviews w/Haberman right not and this one stood out, and not in a good way. I couldn't finish watching it.

@@LibbyRalI lived in NYC while "Don the Con" was always in the papers for the hundreds of lawsuits against him, while he bought buildings and kicked out the tenants (leaving them homeless), personal experience with him at Trump Tower (he's unhinged and 100% a narcissist; unbelievable what he was doing and how he was acting...), the dozen+ bankruptcies. This was before she was on the Trump beat with the Post, Daily News, Politico, NY Times... She did the PERFECT job of covering him from the get go. She, like most of us in NYC, knew who he was but STILL she did her job objectively. She's an old school journalist. She wrote a book about Trump. Over 20 years covering him, how do you propose she talk about the book and *her* experiences with him for two decades, without talking about herself? It's as truthful as her journalism, but Confidence Man is her coverage and reporting from his early days, up through the decades she covered his beat. It would be really strange if she talked in the third person or if she never mentioned herself.
I’m reading Maggie’s book now. It’s eye-opening. He’s filled with anger and hatred. He’s out for retribution and vengeance.
Thank you Magie. Thumbs down to the interviewer!!
She must get so tired of covering Trump

I like to think it's like working in the zoo - it's interesting, it's got its advantages, but you do spend quite a lot of time shoveling shit.
Please post the doctoral hooding 😢😢😢😢
It got a tonne of coverage and then he reversed it, not so for all his other policies.
Grifter in Chief .
The interviewer talks too much for being an interviewer

She does what she says she tells the students not to do when reporting - puts an 'I' in the interview.

She's not reporting here. This is an interview on a book tour. EDIT: Ok. I take that back. I fell asleep during the part where the interviewer was talking about Fox and calling that *entertainment* (which it is; it's not news), and in the same sentence said CNN having six talking heads just doing analysis and then *not* reporting the news-- and *not knowing Maggie Haberman was on CNN* and does not (according to M.H.) simply do analyzing, she reports her news... That entire part was ridiculous. I now see your point and concur. This *isn't* reporting, it's an interview/ conversation, but yes, the interviewer made it too much about herself and her thoughts and opinions. Agreed.
What a joke.
