Btw, it’s SIXTEEN FINAL FOURS NOT 15. The politics of the NCAA may say it’s 15, but that doesn’t mean we have to. We were in the Final Four in 2018. You can’t change that FACT.

@@Bobbarker23455 Actually Kansas has 6 National Championships, 4 NCAA, 2 pre-NCAA. But even if we go just by NCAA standards, Kansas has 16 Final Four Appearances to 6 for UConn. Kansas also has 10 NCAA National Championship Game appearances to 5 for UConn. A sportswriter who is a graduate of UCLA ranked the ALL-TIME GREATEST CBB PROGRAMS as of 2023. He had them like this. 1) Kentucky 2) North Carolina 3) Kansas 4) UCLA 5) Duke 6) UConn 7) Indiana 8) Villanova 9) Michigan State 10) Louisville Points were awarded based on NCAA Championships, National Championship appearances, Final Fours, Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen appearances, all-time Tournament wins, Tournament appearances, and conference championships, and conference tournament titles. YOU SEE….HOW YOU FINISH EVERY SINGLE YEAR COUNTS. So if you don’t make the NCAA Tournament at all, you lose out on possible points too. KANSAS HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY NEAR THE TOP FOR NEARLY 100 YEARS.

Do you know what the difference is between UNC and Kansas? 1 point in 3OT in 1957. That’s right, if Kansas had scored one more basket in triple OT in the 1957 NCAA Championship game (Kansas lost 54-53 to UNC in 3OT), then Kansas and UNC would both have 5 each (Kansas 4 + 1) (North Carolina 6 - 1) That’s it. In fact, Kansas is the only program to lose 2 National Championship games by 1 point each, 1953 and 1957.

I haven't seen any other videos from this year yet, so I can't say for sure, but sometimes they alter the video depending on the opponent. Since this was a match-up of the last two national Champions, they decided to focus on national championship winning teams, and Wilt got cut for time.

4 NCAA Championships 2 pre-NCAA National Championships The NCAA did not exist for the first two National Championships in the 1920s; they were still National Championships, just not NCAA National Championships.
