Great to see the rules at home where they belong. I grew up on the corner of 19th and Naismith Dr, within sight of the fieldhouse. I spent many hours at the fieldhouse as a kid, watching practice, games and getting autographs. I have been fortunate enough to return to see a number of games, the dedication of the Booth Athletic Hall, KD dump 26 in the first half for Texas....as a longhorn, there is no better place to watch a college bball game than in Lawrence. Rock Chalk, except for those two games each year.

Just finished watching the ESPN documentary. What a great story, the kid had the moxy to pull it off! I'm a huge NC STATE basketball fan, having been a student there in the early 80s, so glad the rules didn't wind up at duke!!!!!!

Rock Chalk, just watched 30 for 30 for 6th-8th time "There's no Place Like Home." I had the exact same upbringing as Josh. Josh was the young man behind trying to get KU alumnis to buy the rules. Like Josh, my Dad had me watch the 1988 National Title game KU vs OU where Kansas won. I've been a DIEHARD ever since, I was 10 years old that game.

I just watched the 30 for 30 and omg the guy pressuring David Booth to do this was so cringy 😂😂😂 lmao that auction scene was fucking painful! David was pissed about having to pay that much. The fuckin rocks on that Josh guy. Smh! It reminded me of when I threw a fit in order for my Dad to get me a video iPod 😂😂😂 guy doesn’t understand the value of a dollar, but I guess neither does Bill Self! BOOM, roasted.

I thought the exact same thing. I can't even ask someone for an extra buck if I'm too broke to buy a McDouble at McDonald's, yet that Josh guy had the gall and audacity to hound Mr. Booth for several million bucks. I couldn't believe it.

Just let Kansas have this. Their pathetic state has nothing else to offer. Hell, George Brett is in their state hall of fame despite never playing in Kansas.
