My GMA, rest in peace, and I had never been to a KU basketball game. For me it was understandable. I live close but was never a student or anything. My GMA was in her 70s, graduated from KU in the 50s and was the biggest KU fan I knew, but she had NEVER been to a KU basketball game! So before she passed (terminal cancer) we decided as a family we'd get her and all of us to a game... This was the one we saw. All I can say is God is good. Rock chalk.

This should have over a million views...chills...watching that game live was incredible!

Yeah it was; KU has always been a great passing team. On that sequence, they passed the ball five times before a shot was taken. That's beautiful offense right there.

Cryptacity I graduated from Mizzou but now Mizzou is rock bottom. At least I support an original Big 8 team.

I stayed up till the bitter end, by far the most entertaining Kansas team in the past few years. They had such great chemistry, this should’ve been the year they won it all😔

I was at that game....I barely noticed a single person leave. There were Maybe 100 seats open low enough for the camera to catch. KU fans don't leave. We have sold out every game in allen fieldhouse since December 2nd, 2001. The previous game, November 29th, 2001 was one of the worst snow and ice storms in the lawrence area in years, and the final attendance was 15,984...326 people short of a sellout.

Devonte in the second half was out of his fucking mind. Loved this team

Being your first KU video, you could not have chosen a better game to start with. You absolutely nailed it! Always love your ability to add drama to your narrative. That part before the comeback nearly got me. Another stellar tribute!

Love this :) A friend gave us her nosebleed tickets to this game. At first I wanted to be closer to the court, but being able to take in the entire crowd's response AND enjoy the game was amazing. Fun note - KU set a new world record for loudest indoor crowd roar during this game. I have the ticket and the official card commemorating the world record. This video does the insanity of this game quite a bit of justice!

Graham was absouletely fantastic in this game. His game high 18 points were huge in the game. He hit some amazing shots in this game.

I can't imagine shooting those two free throws for the tie.

All year KU was able to negate the lack of inside D and inside scoring by hitting tons of 3's and getting the the rim..in that Oregon game, they shut down the drives. BUT, KU missing 20 of 25 from 3 had nothing to do with Oregons defense, it was just a game where they shot like crap and had no inside game to turn to.

Right, and another thing is they had the more athletic shot blockers. Bell was much more athletic than Landen was. And Josh Jackson getting those fouls early didn't help matters either. Kansas was a good team, but Oregon was better.

This was one hell of a game, but I have a hard time believing it got louder than T-Rob's block vs mizzou. Great editing as always!

IMO, the WVU fans shouldnt be blaming the refs for this collapse, they should be blaming their team...WVU missed some crucial FT and had some TO late as well..all they had to do was make a few FT at the end and they would have held on for the win..besides, WVU fouls A LOT in Morgantown and gets away with it, so they really cant say much about refs

Refs favored KU? What game were you watching? Any West Virginia fan blaming the refs after this loss needs to shut up! West Virginia lost this game on their own, fair and square. If you are a good team, and I'm convinced that West Virginia is, then you don't give up no 14 point lead with 3 minutes left in the game. But that is EXACTLY what happened in this game. They blew it, and KU beat West Virginia at their own game. West Virignia is so used to creativing all that havoc, they never stopped to realize that it could happen to them. Those six turnovers in the last 3 minutes of the game and overtime sealed their fate, and West Virginia missed a lot of free throws. Devonte Graham was fabulous in this game, scoring a game high 18 points in the game. He hit like 5 of 8 on threes or something.

WVU lost some pretty important pieces from last years team..KU is replacing Mason and Jackson but still has has plenty of talent and ability to beat WVU twice...Azibuike and hopefully Preston will give KU some inside scoring it missed last season.

I doubt that. KU doesn't fear West Virginia alright, but we do see them as a very good team who can beat anybody. West Virginia is in fact losing pieces while KU still is backing back a loaded team. KU will be fine. But I want a win in Morgantown this year.

I am at a loss to figure this Jayhawk Team out. I believe if we get Perry eligible this team will have raised itself from an also ran to a true national championship contender. What is the hold up with the NCAA? Is it fear of what Kansas might do to the chances of their darling programs like NC, KY, Duke, Syracuse, UCLA, Florida, of winning the National Championship? We need to do away with the Noble Complainers of College Athletics anyway. Members of the ruling committee should have no relationship with college sports.

The same Auburn that went 30-10 last year, went on to beat UNC and UK before barely losing to #1 Virginia in the Final Four on a questionable call that should have seen them moving on to the Championship game. Not a bad loss.

I hate Bill Self but this was awesome.

Honestly Bill Self is not that great of a coach. He just has talented players that play for him. I've seen the guy coach for many many years game after game and what he's missing is motivating his players yelling at them to play better getting to them as athletes to play harder and give their best 100 percent or they're not playing games. I don't even consider Bill Self as anything bc of how piss poorly he has ran the Kansas basketball team this year. He is a big joke.

So I guess any idiot can walk into a head coaching gig and win the conference 14 years in a row in a Power 5 conference? This team this year has been the victim of more adversity than a lot of previous KU teams like inexperience, lack of chemistry, injuries, and no leaders. We KU fans have been spoiled these previous years. They’ll bounce back next year, have hope.
