Three tips from having worked off Lee's (excellent) clinch video: a 5kg slam ball is a superb tool to condition the 'pop' where you smack the guy in the brachial with your bicep and then quickly put in a little cupping incidental shot to the occipital with the popping arm. It's fiddlier/impossible to train that pop ballistically using pads. Second tip is to use an AllStrike by Quest, and a partner with forearm guards so you can practice Lee's incidental strikes ballistically and targeting the elbow. Failing that, two thick focus mitts held one on top of the other give a roughly similar target. Nobody's gonna let you rep-out a hundred of these with any juice on them. Third? Buy Lee's clinch DVD; pure gold, with lots of structured progressions on what he demos here.

I have a question...who are all you guys that comment on Lee's videos, are you people that have trained with him, or learned from him in some way? Not a criticism by any means, I think what he teaches is awesome, but would like to hear from you guys as well. 👍🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧
