This works fine on windows 10 too. Just slightly different GUI and options but it does the same thing. Mine is working like a charm right now!! All thanks to you man for showing the right method. Kudos to you man.

Really useful. I wasn't sure what the second command was for that you entered when installing some new files(it didn't work for me), I ended up running upgrade which upgrade 111 packages. (Unsure what the result of that was but it worked) subsequent to that, and running the disc, it worked. TY. * I also had to look into how to add my user to the sudoers file but that was fairly straight forward.

Good job. Very clear and more importantly correct.

Great video especially for beginners try to figure out how to use VM's. Most technology college courses are using VM's for various activities but don't really give any information on how to download and go through the steps. Keep up the great content!!

a couple useful things is in virtual box, enable bidirectional clipboard sharing and in networking probably change NAT to Bridge for more flexibility.

Do I also need an extra firewall on the guest OS Ubuntu?

i can't download any apps on this, it says i need admin password, and my password isnt working. this is stupid.

Whoever is trying to run this setup on Windows 11 and having issues (very slow). Make sure to turn off "Core Isolation" from the Windows Settings and reboot.

i beleive this may be a error, enable the intel virtualization in your bios and it should wokr

I had some issues with any login I made or the default not having root permissions, but I managed to solve it using sudo adduser myname sudo
