Yeah it's just easier using our own banks and going with the current process , based on the comments I'm reading this thing has a lot of downfalls.

Hello. I just started uber eats and love doing shop and pay deliveries. Recently my account was deactivated from receiving shop and pay offers due to fraudulent activity or abuse. I'm not sure why, I'm following the app process correctly and wondering if you had any thoughts. Thanks and happy deliveries.

If you haven't done anything wrong then I have no idea but nothing surprises me when it comes to these companies. Only thing I can think of is you haven't done enough deliveries and one small hiccup could have caused them to deactivate. Try contacting support and see what options they have.

If I'm correct, one of the U.S. versions is a credit card and that gets up to 10% back on gas. Canada version is only debit and worse. Since I use all 3 apps, I'm only Gold and only qualify for 2%. I'll just stick with my credit card which gets me 4% back on gas anyways...

I'm American and it's debit.

The app is system behind it very buggy. This includes the sign up process and everything comes afterwards. I have one but have not used it at. They should have beta tested in small markets first. Considering it is a financial product it is certainly not ready for production use; it is very broken.

I found out from my brother it seems to be a very long process because he signed up weeks ago and still had not received his. I do agree it should be beta tested.

How about withdrawal money from atm? For this do we have to pay fees? Is there any branch banking system if you need to withdraw big amounts?? I believe no one want to have 10k usd in that master debit card ... So how they help about withdrawal money??

I wish I could help answer that but I am sure. I would rather just keep it with your actual bank instead of the Uber card if that's the case.

Yeah I wouldn't like that instant deposit feature. My primary gig app account is One. Being that it's a Walmart subsidiary means Spark deposits every single transaction one at a time. It's a mess! So if I have 7 trips, that will be 7 transactions. Then tips hit 24hrs later and if there were triple batches that's 3 addional deposits per trip. The possibility of 28 total (though not likely). Then "extra earnings" and incentives take a couple of more days. Then weeklies from other apps get buried in that 😵‍💫

I can see where you're coming from Maxi , it would be super hard to keep up on and maybe these companies would try to sneak a few from us due to it.

After receiving the card and activating it ... Does it mean that I don't get my payment to my bank account as a direct deposit anymore? Instead it goes on the balance of this prepaid card?

From my knowledge that's what it means yes. The funds go to the prepaid card instead.

I declined it as well. I have a set up like yours where it is not an advantage for me. It may be a good option for others though.

It's a debit card. It looks like a visa number because you can use the number for things like a visa can do but it's all debit

I can't tell directly no but I can say it's not worth it anymore. It's only a side hustle in my opinion.

Do it with extreme caution. Somehow my card got cloned about a month ago and someone stole $240 out of my account. It took about 2 1/2 weeks to get it refunded back to me. So I will never put my trust back to this card.

My brother does UberEats and used this card for about a year until one day he woke up to a charge of $800 😵‍💫 He only had like $34 in his account..He called the bank and reported it, but it didn’t get resolved for 2 months!

I keep getting this message also the shop and pay its annoying
