PARA has been a game changer for me! There are times I'm inclined to make an exception for certain orders because it's been a bit slow and one can get desperate lol. PARA keeps me from taking it and then I get a good order not long after. Point is, I would've missed out on the good order for taking the crappy one just because I got anxious after 10-15 minutes without an order.

I was wondering what kind of camera do you use and when you walk in the stores do you use a chest harness for the camera?

don't bother with Walmart pickup orders. accepted a $21 double pickup and it took AN HOUR JUST TO PICKUP. I accepted another one against my better judgement and it still took about 15 minutes to pick it up. probably won't be doing those for a while haha

After I got deactivated from Spark I was pretty devastated but now I realize it was a blessing in disguise. I calculated I was wasting around 2 hours per day sitting at Walmart waiting for them to load my car. On average I make around $22 per hour so I was losing $44 per day doing Spark, that's over $1000 per month.

I’ve heard Phoenix is getting bad for getting on the Doordash schedule. It is hard in ABQ and slightly easier in Santa Fe. For ABQ morning shifts you have to absolutely schedule it as soon as it drops pretty much.

I have no issue... I just now scheduled all the way up to next Friday. I do not usually let it run down the entire week before I start scheduling again.. I usually will schedule say for next Friday, after tonights shift, Then schedule for next Saturday after tomorrows shift,. But have had no problem at all.

When these apps show you the amount you'll make for a trip, is that all you are expected to make or is the tip in addition to that? thx!

That is the total amount you should expect to make. There are rare occasions where the payout may be slightly higher than what you see before accepting the order, but make sure the trip makes sense for you the the information you see on the screen

Uber gave me one 23 miles away!! I saw $19 tip but not the mileage. I was deep in the woods, takes me down a dirt road LOL.. but.. I got another $10 cash tip, and another $10 on the app making this a $40 order, so, it made up for the cheap shop and pay that had 9 gallon bottles of beverages! I need to learn the app mileage better before I take it.

Inspect the offer screen the best you can before accepting anything

So how will you handle the new tier system eventually rolling out? I'm just now getting back into working doordash, and Im testing raising my AR up past 70% to see if it affects my earnings. Plus with the new tier system that should qualify me for large orders.

Do not think that the tier system will come to Arizona. But who knows. I am in the large order program as well, and there is nothing right now that states we will need a 50 or 70% acceptance rate to remain in that program. But if that ever does come here, will deal with it then. They are doing their best to try and get their crappy offers delivered. And my guess is that drivers will start moving on to other gigs, or other platforms if they bring the tier bs here. But I got into the large order program May 19th after a 2 year wait, and my acceptance rate at the time was 8%. I am at 20% now. 99% on time rating, 99% completion rate, and 4.97 rating. But you know, I have always had a catering bag, and I sent DD pics of it over the past 2 years, but never got into the program. But within 24 hours or ordering their cheaply made catering bag, I got an email that said welcome to the large order program. Anyways, will see what happens when their tier system fails. :)

When I did Uber Eats here in Canada, I always ensured I had the proper tools: Insulated bags, Large Pizza bag that could accommodate 3 large pizzas; drink caddy, cooler. My pizzas always arrived hot and my ice cream and cold drinks etc, always remained cold. In the limited comment section, I always included, Thank you and enjoy it! I only did 1076 trips, but I used to make good tips. I never worked more than 6 hours and always made at least $100. Problem is my car uses too much gas.

I try to schedule a block, but usually they just send me more orders, not better ones

I ate at that NYPD Pizza a few months ago, wasn't a great experience. Have also ate at the one in Chandler too and same. Not surprised they didn't have their act together.

what is your auto decline settings?

no way am i ever taking a walmart order for $11. Especially on UE instead of Spark. $15 bare minimum if its 1-5 bags goin 0.5 miles. Loading takes way too long (10-15 mins) and if you get a big order then unloading can be a massive pain that could burn 15-20 mins or better. Just a waste of time for too little pay and possibly actual "work" compared to dropping a bag of food at the door.

So Uber Eats here in Arkansas has gotten so slow in the last 2 weeks. It's like 90 percent down on orders received from my normal and I'm a diamond driver so idk

Jacob I am shocked that you take walmart orders lol. I have never yet taken one... but I think I had uber remove me from all of those orders because they do not send them to me anymore. But yea, I stopped using Para when it stopped working with Door Dash now. And I do not receive enough uber eats offers to make Para worth while. Im lucky if I get 1 uber eats offer per hour. Uber x now that is a whole different world. They stack you immediately unless you pause requests as soon as you pick up your passenger, which I do. Anyways, another day another $ Back at it tonight :) PS.. I use Beans app for apartments.. Cannot live without it. Also, I have a universal gate code that works about 75% of the time for gated home communities, and apartment complexes ......

I avoid apartments period.

Hi Jacob, I’m also in Scottsdale and I’ve been thinking of delivering part time to pay down some debts. If I work about 15hr a week (dinner on weekdays and lunch/dinner on weekends), could I earn $200-$250 a week?

doordash has been greedy as hell lately. im tempted to take one of these trash orders ive been seeing and ask the customer what their tip was considering ive been seeing like 8 out of 10 offers with 0 tip, which is extremely rare for my area. even from super nice restaurants man.. there's just no way its normal. i feel like theyre showing the offers with the tip not included somehow even though it says 'guaranteed' or 'tip included'. for whatever reason, they just want new drivers en mass.

This morning December 3, I get an Uber delivery that comes in $25. 1 mile but it doesn’t say where it’s going and that was an alarm that went off in my head, I was able to call the customer they were 25 miles away from me which is 50 mile round-trip Uber tried to screw me I canceled the trip..this is the stuff they’re up to these days not just these days ..screw the drivers they knew no one was gonna take this 50 mile round-trip.. remember you new drivers.. you don’t get a pickup where you drop off!!

There's a button on the app to press if you feel like you're in danger. It can call 911 if the situation is that serious. I also wouldn't deliver the orders. They need to be sober to receive the alcohol

Same in my market the base pay dropped and I hardly get any orders now.

What app will you use when doordash take you out the large order program with the new tier program. I don’t think a lot of dashers that are super cherry pickers will survive this new system 😢

Cash loophole to delivery drivers. If you wait for 7 mins at location and flash call the customer as the call will not register on their phone but will with Uber Eats. Ignore all calls and messages you will be able to mark delivery complete and get paid. Never worry about not being able to make a delivery just wait and hide and get paid works with PIN verification

You would make more money working at McDonald’s for minimum wage where I live. They listed on indeed to get a bunch of new drivers, when the drivers they already had were barely making anything. They just want new people who don’t know how it goes to sign up, and it just makes it worse for every driver and customer, new and old. Now they have a commercial telling people you can just turn off the rides and do deliveries. So now we have a million uber eats drivers but no driver is making good money where I live.

Uber eats has gone down hill. I ordered donuts and they sent me the wrong ones and they just told me I'm not eligible for a discount or refund. 24 bucks down the drain

I’ve had para and it don’t work I. My area with doordash and ubereats rarely . It use to tell you if there was hidden tip and if house or apartment. I uninstalled it

I've been doing Uber eats and so far in about a weeks time I've hit about $365 dollars. My goal is $500 a week minimum and maybe even $1,000 a week if I get super efficient. Ive already tried to apply to doordash but my application hasn't been accepted. Is there any way to get them to activate my account so I can start making more off more than one app? Or what other app do you find makes as much roughly compared to uber eats?

Uber eats sucks. They are not good at all

Uber Eats sucks. I ordered food from Taco Bell and it cost 50 plus. What did I get? Two, count em , two tacos. Not even the tacos I ordered in the original order. So they stole 50 plus from me and when you call back the driver it goes to vm. He doesn't answer. I'm definitely calling my bank to shut them down. So you want to flag the address? My God! I was ripped off just as if someone held a gun to my head.
