Gotta love a strong start and transparency!

Doordash tries to get their drivers to deliver all the orders by "incentivizing" these challenges to the drivers. I think doordash could do $6 base pay for every order and they wouldn't be losing out on profits. I think the industry knows people are desperate for money so they can drop base pay and people will just keep delivering regardless.

This part, any industry can afford to pay their workers more and still have an insane amount of profit but they don’t cuz they’re greedy a holes.

0:42 It seems like Uber is slowly rolling out tip transparency to markets. I haven’t seen it in my market yet Also yeah I’m surprised you’re just now getting the base pay decrease. Orders stacked together are $2 as well and it sucks so much

Uber hasn’t shown me the tip transparency at all after this video lol. This $2 base pay for DoorDash is rough. I’ve been making about 80%-90% of my income from tips

I use only Door Dash as a Top Dasher with a 4.94 rating and 96% acceptence rating (dropped due rejecting orders outside of town on country roads during the snow storms): I can make about $200+ a week when I dash in my area for the Dinner Shift (430PM-8PM) on Wed and Fri and a 12hr shift on Saturday from 8A-8P. I am wondering why when you show the screen capture for the Door Dash order, you say that it will be more, but your orders never have the " + " icon on the end of the value of the order *ex: your catering order you said that it would be more, but it only showed $9.50 on the screen capture. In my area, when an order is going to be more than the shown price, there is a plus sign at the end, so the order should have read $9.50+. It's just something weird I noticed. And yeah, the base pay for orders dropped to $2 per order in November in my area (Broad Area: Missouri).

Should i be worried about lying customer telling uber that i didnt deliver their order? 😢

If it happens once, you’ll be fine. If it happens again soon you might want to call in and tell them the situation

Okay thank you for responding back here's another question I live in Glendale and I want to do the deliveries in Glendale what would be the best one to do to make money doordash or Uber eats. I want to do them on a 8 to 10 hour shifts starting in the morning like 7 am . Any insight you can share will be greatly thank you bro

Was thinking the same, at about 8:25 into the video you can see him wrestle with this since it would be a UE offer that will take him out of his zone (for DD), the payoff was good enough he went for it. But seems like he is very disciplined about taking orders from UE that don't drag him away (or at least not too far) from his DD zone for the most part (another item to check for every offer coming in).

I don’t accept Uber Eats orders that will take me out of my DoorDash zone. I just decline them and move on

$2 base pay here and dash now is very hard to come by.
