Try the recipe in my Chori Burger youtube channel. That is very very similar to the chorizo de cebu.

For siopao? Use oil but your dough will be yellowish. That is why shortening is preferred.

For siopao? You can use oil (same amount) but expect your siopao to be yellowish instead of white. That is why shortening is preferred.

If you are in the Philippines, you can use room temperature water. If you live in colder countries, heat to 100F.

Pwede naman as long as you keep it dry in a covered container. I prefer to keep them in the refrigerator. Storage life depends on the brand of the yeast.
