At 40:38, when you say "there is no way to get double aces," there is: 10/6 4/1 gets you double aces. You lose double 2s though so it doesn't matter.

Great stuff guys. Why did Sander retire? does he play poker or something else instead now?

Sander is one of the best sports bettors in the world and owns multiple companies. It wasn't for the lack of love, but rather a lack of time, that he semi-retired from Backgammon. But you will usually still see him in Monte Carlo every summer, not to play the world championship tournament, but to eat good food and play high stakes moneygames.

Marc and Nick recorded the commentary for each match the night before it was aired, and of course didn't know any results.

It is kind of disappointing from a neutrality aspect how hard the commentary is rooting for Mochy. Still great match and really appreciate it

In the other matches it was not this way. I think they are rooting for results and Mochy performed this match.

I think people are mainly rooting for Mochy late in the series because if Hideaki wins we won’t get the full 12 matches.

very bizarre the cube ueda took and lost gammon at 0-0 is a take-pass optional position..i would snap take it, even if his back checkher would be at 15 or 16 instead of 18 which becomes a clear pass than..strange with high anchor plus too long 6 point..i guess the blunder done bu ueda is very natural, most of strong people would do it as well...for this match i have nothing to criticize....well played agaİN
