I think of Mochy made the 4 point on his largest Blunder he would’ve won the PR. I think he played top fast and just didn’t realize he could do that.

Yea that’s exactly what I was thinking. I think with amount of gammon chances to win the match it feels wrong to lose PR for not doubling and taking 1 game point. I believe Mochy probably wins the PR match point if not for those Cube inaccuracies 🤦🏻‍♂️

Do Cube decisions for PR not take into account Match Score and strictly judge solely on that single game being played??

Cube decisions always take into account the match score. Not doubling risked that Sander rolls a joker and and then Mochy loses the opportunity to cube. There were not enough gammons to justify that risk. His equity is simply higher by cubing.

@@DavidKlausa A reasonable answer, however, if Mochy doubles & Sanders (predictably) drops...Mochy has zero chances to win a gammon. The fact he played on should not have been so severely punished as to cost him the 'pr' point. imho Per risking his opponent rolling a 'joker', that is the risk one takes even when one is 'too good to double'. Maybe for scoring purposes an outright win of the match should be worth 2 points & the 'pr win' should be worth 1 point...just a thought.

@@eddieballgame Sometimes you get a position with zero risk that the opponent will roll a joker and get back to a take. In other words, there are no "market gainers." In that case, it is clearly Too Good. It is a "free roll." But in this case it is not a free roll; Mochy can win an undoubled gammon, but he can also get unlucky and not even be able to claim the single point. XG says it's a mistake to not take the bird in hand.

Just got in 12.10 UK time. Was in a Swiss tournament today. Got a consolation prize. Its a start. Got my sights on This pair. In training.

I'm disappointed in the game scoring. In basketball, a player sinks his shots and the scoreboard tells you the winner. In THIS game, the scoreboard says win, but the computer then awards points for dribbling the ball the most? In fishing, one is awarded for the biggest fish, not the most casts. Ah, well...
