UB40 are one of the most successful British acts of all time, with a huge string of hits on both sides of the Atlantic and around the globe. In the UK only three groups (The Beatles, Queen & The Shadows) can claim more hit singles and they've also clocked up 14 Top 10 albums. To date, 2002 is the band's only appearance at the Montreux Festival but clearly inspired them to produce one of their finest performances.

Went to see them live once but sadly wasnt the original band..Ali Wasnt in it but his brother..wasnt the same so.it was alright..wouldve been sooo much better if i experienced ali in it cause he has the voice to his songs

This concert was 20 years ago! Check out the signing off album one of the best and the real UB40 and very relevant today politically. I met all of them, they are beautiful people too!

"Can't Help falling in love with you", composed in 1961 by George David Weiss, Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore. Originally recorded by Elvis Presely on 3/23/1961. 14 weeks on the Billboard charts reaching at number 2. In England it was number 1 for 4 weeks. A gold record on 3/30/1962. Single No 1 in New Zealand. UB40 recorded a version in 1993, was the first single "Promises and Lies", was also part of the soundtrack of the movie "Sliver" (Sharon Stone, William Baldwin and Tom Berenger). Definitely a classic!
