58th Montreux Jazz Festival | July 5 - 20, 2024
Founded in 1967 by Claude Nobs, the Montreux Jazz Festival takes places over 2 weeks each summer in Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva. With ambitious programming choices the Festival’s program is a blending of music genres and the place to be for music lovers.

I too have given Chris high praise for his vocal harmonizing. Melodicaly interesting choices of notes and rhythicaly challenging against his bass work. I'm pretty sure Simon and Garfunckle were a favorite of Jon and Chris.
I first saw Yes on the "Going for the one" tour when Rick Wakeman returned to the band around '77. I was front row center in front of Jon and Chris. They did "Close to the Edge" and later "Awaken", two glorious long tunes. Chris had his triple neck and Taurus bass pedals. Rick had a portable pipe organ and his Birotrons. Steve had his slide guitar and Fender twins. Alan and his croatails, Jon and his harp. Truly magnificent.
