This is about the English rounding up the Irish political prisoners and taking them to Van Diemen's land. Its off the coast of Austrailia, my 4th great grandfather (from Ireland) was kidnapped as a child and brought to the US. Makes me think about him. Its a very moving song.

They should let The Edge Dave Evans sing more. He is Welsh after all.

I think The Edge is to Bono/U2 what Brain May was to Freddie/Queen. They both have beautiful singing voices but their frontman is so strong, that they can get a song in edgewise. Plus, as guitarrists they are unique and the best. It´s hard no to put them where they can better serve the band.
