Bono was expecting to him suck but was very impressed when he heard his impression of him. The Edge later said that Joe knew the song better than they did.

Awesome! Bono & Hollywood Bono Joe Hier of Hollywood U2 Duet. Bono is hysterical...he say's: "Love your early work man." Love it.

That is soooo much fun. And man he could sing like Bono too! That is a brother from another mother! For sure, his doppelganger. Such a fun experience, and a laugh. Bono is pretty humble to do that.

I like when Bono asks him "How's your left hand?" Awesomeness.

We saw Hollywood U2 last night at Fantasy Springs Resort's Rockyard. They were great!

What person with a true love for great music wouldn't dream to experience a moment like this?

Bono really seems like he likes to do things that he would like his heroes to do for him if he was in the crowd and that is awesome!

Completely agree. Especially the part at 0:50 where he said “I love your early work“. That shows a level of self-awareness and self-deprecation that most people in his situation (as an all-time great) are incapable of.

I think Bono just sometimes gets stressed out from constantly trying to keep up with himself between the band, and whatever political lobbying and humanitarian missions he takes on… I think he sometimes has that moment of clarity where he realize h has a lot he’s committed to, but there’s that fire inside him that doesn’t allow him to slow down I think it’s quite possible he might have a small inner war like that going on, and it sometimes makes him have a bad day here and there. And the fans who call him this and that based on meeting hi, probably caught him at the wrong time, maybe Because you’re right… for Bono to welcome fans on stage, to welcome tribute bands to jam with them, and for members of U2 to hear word of tribute gigs and decide to crash their gig by surprise …. AND for Bono to STILL be married to the same wife that he had even before anyone knew who he was, and having 4 children… it sounds to me like he’s doing a lot of the “right” things, and is a pretty good dude who makes a legitimate effort to deliver his best A lot of nations have been lifted out of poverty because of Bono’s voice and presence. The world stage and political landscape tends to listen to what Bono has to say before they do their own cabinets of advisers

Holy shit this was amazing. I’ve seen a lot of artists and bands do this sort of thing with a member of the audience. But this is far and way the best one I’ve ever seen. The crazy thing is this is actually a tough song to sing with all the falsetto transitions. And he pulled all of those transitions off seamlessly. Ps. I was today years old when I found out Bono can play piano
