What if Bono and Edge guest appeared in an Elton John and Billy Joel show? It could look something like this...
Billy Joel 2 Elton John tribute invited Hollywood U2 tribute to join them for a fantasy appearance. Bono- Joe Hier & Edge- Stevie Adams joined Kenny Metcalf as Elton and Mike Santoro as Billy Joel to wow 8,000 attendees in The Hangar July 2015.
Kenny Metcalf as Elton tribute, Hollywood U2 tribute, and Billy Joel 2 Elton John tribute shows have each had the honor to have their own LIVE National show broadcast on AXS TV's "The Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands"
Joe Hier early last year ( 2015 ) was spotted in the audience at the Forum in Los Angeles by Bono during their show. Bono said, "I saw myself in the crowd.. Where are you Bono, I've always wanted to meet you?"
He invited Joe Hier on stage, and had no idea he sounded like himself. He held the mic up to Joe during the sweetest thing and was amazed to hear his voice coming back to him out of Joe's mouth.
He handed Joe the mic and walked away letting Joe complete the song.
We thought it would be fun to do that for the Orange County Fair, and it went over great.
Ya never know.. Maybe Elton, Billy, and Bono and Edge could connect someday, but until then.. Here is our tribute to them.
