When I was 21 I was diagnosed with cancer. When I left the doctor's office after receiving the news, this song was the first thing that started playing on the car stereo. I decided I could take it as either a cruel joke or a rallying cry. That was nine years ago yesterday. This song still brings tears to my eyes. I love this band.

As Bono gets older, his voice becomes more multi-dimensional and has a little rasp. This gives the songs a different feel. I like it.

A great band wonderfull

The Starman interlude with the last verse is simply awesome... Takes it to another level altogether. 19 years and this is still my No.1 song of all time.

Even if i was blind his my "Beautiful day"and what I've had, will or wont have, Ive never needed anyway, my son is all I need. He is the entire experience of what this song is trying to say. MY ABSOLUTE.

U2 is unique in that every album they make speaks to the era in which it is created, and yet the songs are timeless. They’ll sing something from 10, 20, 30 years ago, and it will still sound fresh and new.

just bought a 2,000$ electronic drum kit...and I've worked my way to Unforgettable Fire,re-learning songs I've played and songs I haven't, I'm having fun with Indian Summer Sky, I had to buy a mounted tambourine when Joshua Tree comes up next and bought another 12-inch tom pad so I have one on each side so I can play how Larry has his kit set up...

Must not forget Keighan😊he’s very special too all three make our lives better for us

Amazing voice of Bono after all those years and superclean sound of The Edge across all the performance Loved them since October back in the 80’s. They were fresh air at the time. They still have soul. Brilliant

Simply awesome. I was privileged to be the only westerner on the top of The Clarence when they performed this song to a few media outlets. There were about thirty of us up their - and I remember people all over the rooftops of Dublin moving to the rhythms. A very special memory

My first international band concert was U2 360 at Morumbi, SP on my B-day and it's a kind of experience I will never forget Now I can say that today I have reached rock button in all ways, my life has been turning upside down searching for a dream I will never be able to reach and I am so sad and down. Listening to U2 songs is one of the few things that fill my soul with joy 'cause I remember that night like it was yesterday. My favorite band always.

I remember the exact moment when this song dropped on the radio. I was readin a news paper (yeah in paper) in my kitchen 24 years ago.. Fresh brewd coffe and my favs of sammiches .. well it was chees and bread but I couldnt wait to get to school to tell Johan (at the time music pal) about this awesome new song from U2 ...we found eachother in first class and our eyes meet.. and we just knew that both of us heard it .. . And the laughter and joy we had. Good times ..
