U.S. Military Airman Surprises Son at his Football Game (Emotional Version) Surprise!
Музыка
Property of Spangdahlem Air Base
52nd Fighter Wing
When Master Sgt. Joseph Martell returned home from deployment in Afghanistan a month early, he took it as an opportunity to surprise his teenage son. After landing, he and his wife headed straight to Brussels, Belgium, to his son Justin's high school football game. While showing up at the game unannounced probably would have been surprise enough, Martell took it a step further. He put on the opposing team's jersey and joined his son on the playing field when the referee called a meeting on the 50-yard line. It takes Justin all of three seconds to recognize his dad once the U.S. airman removes his helmet. "I thought he was - I don't even know how many miles [away], and the next thing I know he's standing in front of me and I'm giving him a hug," Justin told Spangdahelm Air Base. Now that's one of the best displays of good sportsmanship we've seen in a while.

Turned that 180lb young man back in to Dad's little boy just like that. It takes a real good Dad to keep that love going. Great stuff!!!

I’m a military kid born in 1992 (if you all are familiar that shows how often my dad had to leave me and my mom by ourselves) and i respect the military but I never realized how much it traumatized me as a child to have my dad leave for 6+ months, multiple times, not knowing if he would come back from deployment. I cried like this every time he came back too idgaf! I’m getting emotional watching this 😭
This is beautiful. If only my dad was alive. No matter how great a mother is she still can't fill a fathers spot.
Aw I really need to stop watching these. They always make me cry...people are so happy and it's so lovely but my shirt is getting wet because I've just watched about 15 of them. So beautiful!
I want to see the unemotional version where they just look at each other and eventually shake hands.
This made me tear up. I hate crying. What an awesome dad.
This is a beautiful moment, but damn his dad didn't even flinch when his sons facemask slammed into his face. Now that's one tough man
I didn't expect to cry, but it just flowed out like a waterfall 😢
I don't understand why people are committing are hating on him , he's his son and he will always be , he loves him so that's why he cried , there's nothing wrong in crying anyway
No matter how big they get on us, they’re still the tiny little angels that slept on our chest, that we gave bottles to, that always wanted us to pick them up and hold. This is beautiful. Father’s, we’re EVERYTHING to our boys
