Just a tip for wet boots. I work construction and when my boots get soaking wet. I ball up news paper (black and white) not colored section. Then stick those balls of news paper down In my boots, over night. Usually dry in the morning.

Is SERE annual training or something pilots just do once?

There is SERE.100 which is pre-deployment training online. Then there is SERE.C (HIGH RISK) which is what all pilots and special forces personnel have to go to once. After you complete it you don’t have to go back. If you had to do it again I think the Army would have an even bigger retention problem lol.

Is this a 21 day course completely out in the field?

Does SERE School require any Swimming?

Can you make it through SERE as a vegan or vegetarian? I'm prior service Air Force, I've been through Air Force training environments as a vegan. Killing animals isn't mandatory, is it? Thank you for all the great warrant advice you've posted.

You can make it through SERE as a vegetarian. However, there maybe times where you have to kill animals so you and your team can eat. You don’t have to eat animals but you may have to participate in trapping, hunting, and killing.
