It's hard to tell when he is being serious or not as he will literally say one thing to one interviewer then another thing to the next. Personally, I love his interviews and fights. He is just a lad, no media training to come across PC. Just wish he looked after himself more between fights.

This man is a top role model for the state the world is in. He's showing you can be yourself without fear of prejudice. The world would be a better a place with more people, especially in the media limelight who were just themselves! Instead of pumped up steroid freaks who look good and turn youngsters to roids. He's a pure talented fighter and an asset to the UK and world boxing! Keep up the good work Tyson and good luck for the 9th July I'm in your corner.

    +bnegs521 this happens to a lot of people, because they have goals that don't mean anything. becoming world champion, becoming a manager at work, owning a farrari, becoming a millionaire, winning the world cup.... many boxers say they become world champion after dreaming of it for so many years, then once they've got it, now what? what was all the fuss about, look at the glenn mccrory thing on sky sport where he talked about his career, he said he dreamt of being a world champion all his life, doing it for him and all his family and his little disabled brother, then he finally did it, and he said, i woke up the next morning, and a part of me had died, and its a part of me I've never got back. your goals in life should be finding an amazing partner you love and adore, raising a wonderful healthy family, having great friends etc etc. all these are what truly matter, and all these goals have no end, you can't complete them, and most of all, they matter. being world champion doesn't matter, as tyson fury says..... so what?

  • @bnegs521

    That family shit is good for some but what does that mean in the end either? I was with ya til you went off on your bullshit family rant. Great friends? meh Some of them are great for a while then you never hear form them again. You can have a great family and then that gets boring too. And then when they go off to college or move out then what? Girls these days are ashamed to be out with their parents in public past age 15. Are all the sacrifices worth it? For some yes and for other not so much.

  • @JC-ko1bp

    @JC-ko1bp

    8 жыл бұрын

    bnegs521 well ok then nothing is worth it. but to me, spending every day for the rest of your life with someone you love and family you love is what life is all about for me. great family never should get boring, kids have kids then you get grandkids. but i see your point, to some, that probably doesn't matter either. i think it does to tyson though, he did say in one of his latest interviews he's trying to find the meaning of life, and he thinks its his family and children. so i think family is a better goal to have in life than becoming world champ. but like you say, to some, even that isn't enough, so really for these, nothings ever enough, theres no real point to anything

    I think you are trying to project your values and wants in life and aligning it to what he is saying and I just do not buy it. He has been off for a long while from doing any boxing and he still said that he is depressed, so I do not buy what you are selling because if family is what made him so happy then he would be overjoyed right now but he is not. That is what makes YOUR life tick. Do not project YOUR values on everyone else though. Silly.

    bnegs521 well the family side of my comment wasn't even suppose to be my main point, forget i even mentioned it. all i was trying to say, which i think you agreed with, is that silly goals like being world champion aren't that important when you achieve them, they seem meaningless and pointless once you achieve them and really they don't matter much at all, and i think fury is realising this now, whats the point, he's done it, now what. forget my family comments, yes they're my own views, thats why i included them, that and because fury mentioned them in a recent interview he had, saying he's looking for the meaning of life and he thinks it must be his family. thats all, forget i said it......

    After the first fight I think that the fear factor is gone for both. Tyson says they are both relaxed around each other and it shows. I just hope that Fury can get in shape or he will pull out of the fight.

    Behind all that trash talking, Tyson Fury is actually a very honest and deep person. I can easily associate myself with him in search of belongingness. Wish him nothing but the best in the rematch against Klitschko.

    When Kugan asked "Why are you depressed after yesterday?" - I don't think thats a question you can ask any depressed individual, because even those that are depressed don't know the answer either.

    This is the first interview I've seen from Fury where I've left actually liking the guy. The obnoxious and arrogant Fury is one end of the spectrum, and the version that gets the most media coverage, but the other side is, in my opinion a lot closer to the real guy. Anyone who has experienced depression of any kind will understand what he means when he states that he doesn't care if he wins or loses. He's already fully accepted the outcome, which you learn to do when taking each day as it comes. Win or lose, he'll feel exactly the same - content that it's over. His view on elite athletes and drugs is also a lot closer to the truth than many will choose to believe. Or course, not 'everyone' is supplementing with ped's. It depends on the sport, how much of a factor size or strength has on the outcome, and the culture the athlete is from. But he's right about boxing. He's also right that skill is the deciding factor. And regarding Wlad... that's just common sense.

    Tyson is a rough diamond. I was rooting for him last time and was one of the few who gave him a chance and I celebrated his amazing achievement when he proved all his haters wrong. Despite all his conflicted statements and mood swings I could see his fighting instinct, his fluid movement and reflexes, and most of all underlying intent and how hard he worked with Peter for that fight. Also his uncle who is a wise, level headed and pragmatic individual seemed convinced that they were going to do what they did. What worries me now is not only Tyson's physical conditioning 10 weeks before the fight (I am sure he was well on his way to fighting shape by the time for the last fight) but his own uncle, who knows him best as an individual and a fighter, no longer speaking with the same conviction and is calling it a 50/50 fight with a predicted stoppage either way. Better experts than me will know if 10 weeks is really enough time for a fighter like him to get in good enough shape from where he is now, but completely stepping off the gas pedal and blowing up in weight between fights cannot be good (memories of Ricky Hatton.) Seems to me that Tyson's toughest opponent is himself and if he does manage to retain the belts in July I think he should retire undefeated and find some balance in life outside the ring.
