You fell for that crap? He played the 'mental health' card to reinvent himself. He was caught as a drug cheat and banned. By that time he was a filthy-mouthed liar, who was bringing boxing into disrepute. People were disgusted at him. Then all of a sudden he pulled the MH card with all the bollocks about wanting to commit suicide because of his depression, No! It was the shite he was shoving up his nose that affected his mood changes. Self-inflicted. Then when he came back to boxing, he played the act of being this wounded person. Trouble is, he couldn't keep the act up and reverted back to his foul-mouthed ways. He's no different to any other con man. The Lying King.

@@davidsweeting6876 thanks David, I'm happy to say that after ten years of being without a mental health clinic I have finally been assessed and I'm going to be seen by a doctor who is going to get me back in the mental health team's supervision, I was discharged eleven years ago for non attendance for an appointment that I actually turned up for but the psychiatrist wasn't even there that day and I was told that they would post me another appointment but three weeks later I got the discharge letter.

I’m glad Tyson Fury spoke about the taboo linked to depression and I’m glad he didn’t go through with taking his own life, thank you for speaking on the subject as hopefully it’ll get people who have been in the same situation, where they’ve shut it away and not got the help to actually get the help they need. And a message to others you ARE NOT weak for suffering with any form of mental illness. I have suffered from depression myself for years, which itself got worse after my dad passed away. But after doing a lot of self reflection and journaling about my thoughts etc I’ve been able to start on the right path for me again.

I wish people would stop using ‘mental health’ like it’s the set phrase for any mental condition. ‘Suffering from mental health’ doesn’t mean anything. There are a myriad mental health conditions, and why is it bad to label them as what they are? Like depression and anxiety, as in Tyson’s case. Surely that would be the way to beat the stigma, not to group the vast array of different mental conditions under one umbrella phrase? For everyone who actually suffers from a mental condition, there is another who is only using their ‘mental health’ as an excuse to slack or claim unearned benefits. This has to stop. It’s not enough to say that you understand the ‘importance of mental health’. If you are truly sensitive and intelligent, you should research some mental conditions and gain a reasonable understanding of their symptoms, so that you actually understand to a certain degree what some people go through. There’s no use parading about how ‘understanding’ you are when you aren’t actually very understanding. To clarify, there’s no hate at all behind what I am saying. I am just calling a spade a spade. It’s time people did their reading instead of blindly supporting a system whereby anyone can self-diagnose with whatever suits them. Like it or not, this is a huge issue facing our world today.

This man is a born actor. Does Peds then claims he has mental issues to escape public backlash. He should be in a ring fighting pro boxers rather than try to be a modern day Hulk Hogan doing scripted mock fights against non boxers. Tyson is a total clown.
