@@Alec-ih5or I think it was ever 6-6 or 7-5 Usyk, with the knockdown Usyk edged it. I think if Fury didn't have the lapse in concentration in the 9th he wouldn't have lost the point for the knockdown and he might have been able to win the 10th (he just took the whole 10th to recover). I think it was fair for Usyk to win but Fury can take a lot of confidence from his success in the middle rounds of the fight and if he makes some adjustments he has a very good chance to win the rematch.

Apples and oranges. Lewis’ legs were never done, his punch resistance wasn’t diminishing, he was always in shape, he lived the life. Tyson Fury is an old 36, in and out the ring. Fury’s punch resistance and legs have gone. He’s been on the decline for a while. Usyk beat Fury 8 rounds to 4, and with a 10/8 that should’ve been a TKO. Yeah, the fight was highly contested, but ultimately, Usyk battered Fury. And how the hell that one judge scored it for Fury, I’ll never know

AJ vs Joshua. New mythical character unlocked, CTE Hearn.
People are going on like if he had a different corner Fury could have simply chosen to win rounds. He fought well but, like Usyk, was at max level the whole time having to manage his cardio and effort. The final round was his best since like the 6th - he was far from coasting.
The thing is, sugars was great advice too. ‘Meet him as he comes with good shots. Dont even need to throw them hard.’ It’s perfect advice. Couldn’t hear it.

Of the fist 3 rounds, only round 1 was a toss-up, but I still think that went to usyk. 2 and 3 were both dominated by usyk until the last 30 seconds, which wasn't enough to give either of them to fury

I do t know ow why people give Hearn so much slack. I think he’s probably the best promoter in the game. He gives his fighters the best percentage, and he tries to put them in the best fights for the most money. One thing Eddie doesn’t seem concerned about is his fighters losing vs good opponents. Also listening to him speak so highly of Usyk when he literally is competing against the guy having AJ as his fighter says a lot. Saying Usyk is an all time great fighter while promoting AJ says a lot about his character.
Some people are really mad at life,, complaining about someone kissing a cross and trying to make it look like an inhaler is really s.... To said .

Gypsy king had a great round 12, He will win the rematch on points. I will give it to Usyk (but only just)
Calm down Hearn. Without the knockdown it could have went either way
I thought fury did an amicable job.. when it rolled into round 5 fury was absolutely bossing it. Can't see how anyone gave usyk more than 2 rounds by the 6th.. that 5th round was almost clinical from fury. I prefer boxing off the back foot so usyk applying pressure doesn't count for shit.. usyk just different and after the nose break usyk proved why he's one of the best in the division
You ought to watch it back before commenting further Eddie. I don’t like Fury’s antics and lies, a lot of people are like me and we didn’t laugh at his loss. He’s going to lose the rematch, especially if we get rid of the incompetent ref and the judge that thought Fury had won.

I think that's nonsense. People in the modern era are too quick to dismiss boxers as finished the moment they have one single loss. Which is ridiculous. Plenty of boxers in the past suffered defeats and came back even stronger, and this is Tysons first ever defeat, in 36 professional fights, and by split decision, and yet somehow, you think he's lost his ability now?? Like come on lol. He was fighting a boxer in Usyk, that was also undefeated as well, and so one of them simply had to lose. The Usyk fight was also a lot more competitive than people make out, and people who think it was heavily one sided are just being disingenuous or delusional. Tyson was winning that fight up to and including Round 7. Also to say he 'even' got dropped by an MMA fighter, is also disingenuous, because #1 Tyson didn't take that fight seriously and anyone into boxing could see that, and #2 It wasn't just any MMA fighter, it was Francis Ngannou, who's a giant of a man, and when you're talking about someone that came in weighing 272lbs in that fight, he can easily knock you out, especially when you're not taking him seriously and showboating like Tyson does. That's why the heavyweight division is the most exciting division of all as well, because you have these huge guys, that can knock each other out in a single punch at any given time. So yeah, Tyson is far from finished. Whether he'll take the rematch though, I don't know, Tyson is completely unpredictable and with his mental health issues, you never know what he's thinking. But I could easily see him taking the rematch, and this time just going for pure power, coming in heavier and trying to knock Usyk out. Something he's quite capable of.

Tired of this era of giant heavyweights... Its clear as day quickness is no1 thing and once you are above 6'3 you lose quickness and mobility and gain very little extra power. People forget how Ruiz destroyed Joshua and would have done it again had he had discipline to train. All former heavyweights from Lennox to Mike Tyson to Ali would destroy these giant heavyweights of today because they have the power and quickness. Fury just couldnt keep Usyk of him and Usyk got away whenever he wanted.

When forgetting points, Fury had it in control first 8 rounds. In the beginning some observating opponents as always, then Fury took the lead. @@knoxy6884 It was typical start, both observing first 2 rounds, then Fury started to take control and it lasted pretty much to the late 8th round. 9th round obviously was disaster for Fury and basically gave victory to Usyk. Still close fight.
