We all agree Tyrion, watching Joffrey die was a pure delight. Also Tyrion is the best GOT character by a mile, and one of the finest tv characters ever.

The scene that solidified Peter Dinklage as one of the greatest actors of all time.

Season 6 Episode 10 is arguably the best episode of the show. I feel like if everything after this point was downhill, people truly would have stopped watching. Westworld was another incredible HBO show. When it declined in quality the viewership collapsed to almost nothing so it was cancelled after 4 seasons. If Season 8 plus maybe a further season nailed the landing, I think people would look at the quality of each season with much more nuance.

Season 9 when come

GoT is like that old girlfriend you never quite got over. You remember all the good times and forget the bad times. Then you try it again and can't get beyond season 5 because you suddenly remember that you broke up for a reason. Seasons 6-8...
