I can relate. Going through a divorce as we speak, all our relationships are different, along with our strengths and weaknesses. I was with my ex wife for 8 years, and felt she never really loved me, she loved the idea of me. We all gonna make it, not all painful things are bad, and times like these allow us to take an inventory and find out what truly matters

I've never liked Tyrese before and idk how I even ended up here but I stayed for the whole video because every single thing he said about his situation mirrors me and what I've been going through. Right down to him saying that that woman took away his favorite moments of his daughter coming in to his office. I was literally just explaining something very similar to someone else ... I know I plan on checking out the album now if he decides to drop it.great interview.

This was a great episode. I have so much respect for Tyrese and the fact that he shared his heartbreak and pain with us. I am so happy Tyrese is getting counseling and his relationship with God is present. Definitely not here to judge anyone or here to say what you should or what you should not do. I will be praying for you Tyrese in hopes that you look back and say that pain is gone away completely. And this was a chapter not season. Because chapters end and yes Seasons change but there is a cycle in seasons. One day you will forgive Sam and marry your new queen. And that you thank God that you got a beautiful girl out of this marriage. God bless you, Tyrese. And Remember our Heavenly Father makes no mistakes. He got you.

Look I'm not one to usually defend Tyrese but I will in this situation. He had a cease & desist and wasn't able to talk his side for 2 years while she was able to and up to now she still never gave a reason why she left him. Let him have his chance to talk...its his time now...and as an artist, they always do songs based on their life experiences...plus who knows he could be talking to a therapist...only thing I don't agree with is him being with someone while he's still clearly healing. Hope the best for Tyrese

There are answers to get that closure. It is very rare that both parties can be mature an take accountability for their actions that lead to that if there were any and at whatever age been through it myself an a person is entitled to that closure. If not they suffer more pain because its open ended. An not closed. Hence the word closure.

But for this one I applaud you and letting you know you’re a brilliant man the way you are articulate yourself I would like to give you your flowers and love. ❤❤. What I would like to say again don’t allow people in this comments make you feel like you’re in the wrong and their opinions don’t really matter. Because some of them in this comments they rather not listen or completely stop to listen, but rushing to laid down their commentaries.

I’m so all over in my mind with this interview because I don’t try to judge. I literally went through a breakup where I was just left after giving my all and it was very traumatic. But I realized in my loneliness that I learned the most. I cried so many tears I felt all of those emotions. And when I finally heard God speak I finally learned what love is … from him. I definitely believe that just because we wouldn’t do it a certain way, doesn’t make someone else’s way wrong. And I definitely believe it’s possible that God could have sent him someone to help, but I don’t understand how we can speak about Jesus and result this way. Or how we speak on Jesus and say “My way of forgiveness is not biblical.” It sounds like pride is in the way of healing. How can we speak about Jesus and say we don’t believe fully in his word? Peter asked Jesus, “How many times should I forgive my brother?” Some translations say that Jesus 77x7 times. But Jesus said that because forgiveness is for US. If we don’t forgive , our father won’t forgive us. If we don’t forgive, we walk around with that yoke around our necks. Sometimes we sit in depression longer than we should because we’re not willing to try God’s process to get out of it. Even With God, we still play a part in what he can do. The new relationship sounds like trauma bonding , Although I believe it can be worked out if both are willing to go through those changes. But I’m so sad hearing the trauma behind the voice. Wisdom from the world and wisdom from God is not the same.

Pain can cloud your decisions my husband filed for divorce and he cheated on me but I wanted my marriage restored but came across someone who was in a similar situation with his wife and we got close but I enjoyed his company it is was comforting when I was missing my husband and I felt like I wasting his time cuz he was becoming attached to me but I never stopped loving my husband so i felt I was building an attachment to him but still crying over my husband so I prayed for God to help me to stop leaning on this man for comfort and to stand in wisdom to move forward so what happened is you can be in a relationship for comfort but you are really keeping back yourself from truly healing and moving forward we were friends for 3 years and never thought I would be with someone while I was wanting back my husband it just was hurting so bad thank God as you said we grow and learn
