Jess being a part of this interview was really refreshing and beautiful to watch. She prioritized Tyrese being heard and supported him, validating his feelings. Tyrese communicates well, and has taken accountability. His composure and maturity here is why this interview was successful. Heart to heart conversations aren’t easy, but he pushed through all the joking and belittling to stand his ground and honor God while doing doing so. Super proud of him. ❤

Jess, you are needed. If you were not there this interview would’ve been a mess with lots of insensitivity to those facing mental health battles. Ultimately, this conversation was/is needed. How Charlemagne and DJ Envy acted is sadly how most folks in society act. We really need to work on not holding grudges and extending grace, but at the same time, we need to be like Tyrese and just own up to the parts we need to own up to. Tyrese is a believer. God will continue to help him.

But I think a lot of the problems that he faces are because he has temper tantrums and it's not mental illness. And I'm not saying that he doesn't battle with it I'm sure he does like most of us but when things are going his way there is no such thing as mental illness and I'm not having a good day as soon as somebody doesn't give Tyrese what he wants when he wants that's when he goes off the deep end and then he blames mental illness you have an adult moment you were upset and you ain't no feelings

Even in this interview… you don’t have to like Tyresse to hear his broken heart in this interview. I can be 100% transparent here and say, my MD put me on Prozac and it did me kind of like Tyrese. I came to one day naked on the side of my bed. My brother had found me and put a blanket around. He found me pouring bleach on my furniture with no clothes on. I have absolutely no memory of that. I still wonder these days, what else did I do, that I don't remember. My MD determined that my body didn't metabolize the medication. Had my brother not come over that day, this med could have killed me or caused me to hurt someone else. I'm so thankful that anyone I did something to has never held anything against me. As for Envy, you simply didn't help your brother like he helped you. It's that simple. Say what you want. You knew what he was doing was out of character and you didn't go try to figure it out. You sat and laughed. I don't care if he hit on your wife while he was on psych meds. I have been a breakfast club fan for over ten years! Watching this interview is heartbreaking for me. For them to preach about mental health one day and make fun of someone struggling with mental health the next day is extremely unsettling for me. I can no longer take them seriously when it comes to their mental health interviews. At the end of the day Tyrese is still a human being and deserves the same grace that any other person should receive when struggling with mental health. I appreciate Tyrese being vulnerable enough to show people that famous people go through the same things we do! Much love Tyrese 💘 ❤ Much respect to you

What Envy and CTG is missing is, when you notice your brother falling and you see the sign that something ain't right, that is not the time to step back, it's a sign that something ain't right about the brother. Like my best friend, when she ghost me, I know something is wrong, so I call her, I text her, I threaten to take a day off from work to roll up on her. They knew something was not right with Tyrese but they used it as a weapon against him when it should not be. Whatever medicine he was on, take it no more and FDA needs to pull it if it gives you that kind of side effects

I love this interview. I have much respect for Tyrese. I have an extremely close relative who is going through the same thing as Tyrese, and I wish I could help her. She's an awesome individual with a huge heart. I pray for her several times and day every day and night. I love her with every beat of my heart but don't know how to help her. I'm glad you guys worked things out. Tyrese Truth is one of the reasons I don't automatically judge someone. Especially just because he is of the male persuasion. All men aren't bad, and all men aren't dogs. There are a bunch of good men out here just as there are women. All women aren't bitter and angry. Some are, and some aren't. There are also a bunch of good women out here, too. You just have to pay close attention to the pond/seas/oceans/rivers you fish in. His wife took the loss of a good husband. She had a real man/husband, but she chose to give him up. That's on her. I am glad I never looked at Tyrese as the bad guy in this situation because I know how some women are. He is just a man who expresses his feelings, pain, and emotions. He is hurt deeply. I commend him for staying quiet when he needed to and opening up when it was the right time, too. Job well done, Tyrese. I wish you all the peace, joy, and happiness in the world. You've earned it and you deserve it. Find you PEACE, my brother, if you haven't already done so. If you have found it, don't allow anyone, and I don't care who they are. Don't allow anyone to disturb your PEACE ever again. To heck with all the haters and naysayers. God blessed you! Stay strong and keep your head up and continue being you, a REAL MAN who isn't afraid to express himself.

The biggest lesson Tyrese needs to learn is people will not extend the same grace as you've shown before. He was falling through a dark tunnel and none of the so-called friends checked on him or caught him. Envy doesn't know forgiveness but wanted his wife to forgive him for his actions. Both are the same, they have to forever prove themselves because of mistakes they've made.

Tyrese is a narcissist, and very manipulative. I see why his wife left him. You have to get away from Him quickly and quietly. Tyrese pretending to not remember is very typical with narcissists when someone calls out their poor behavior. The fact that he’s blaming medication, and his memory on not knowing what he did. And having no control of what he’s doing. Narcissistic people are very good at manipulating conversations to appear smart, vulnerable and caring when they are the complete opposite. But his selective amnesia, and blame shifting shows that he is NOT emotionally intelligent and has accountability problems. The crying video he just released also shows he is not taking accountability because he took it all back. Tyrese is textbook narcissism

@@brentoniverson1020 Narcissist WILL apologize in public, if it makes them look good. But they aren’t sorry. Nevertheless, Narcissists like Tyrese never take FULL accountability for their actions, and Tyrese did NOT take any accountability in this interview. First, He pretended to not remember what he did or said to DJ Envy’s wife. (But he conveniently remembered all the GOOD things he did during that same time. 😉 and that she called him Rayshawn) Then, when he was reminded of what he did, he blamed his medication. 🤨 So what did he apologize for? He apologized for taking some medication, that made him do and say (bad) things he can’t remember? 🤨 I really wish people had better discernment. 😔This is why manipulative and abusive men like Tyrese are able to thrive. People don’t think critically. This man has a pattern of behavior. Broken relationships that he is never responsible for. What he’s doing to his ex wife is separation abuse. And no one will call it out, because he abuses, and then cry’s and plays the victim. Typical narcissist

There is no reason that if you were a friend to Tyrese, you couldn’t have extended the same grace when he was going through his tribulations . He holds too many grudges

@@nurilove1874 Right, that's fucked up. when somebody that you know normally doesn't act as certain way steps out a character like that and start snap and, it's clear that there's substance use or mental issues going on. of course we all have to protect our own, but it's not like Tyrese was threatening him physically and NV was scared of his for his life or something 😕 he could have told his wife to fall back and got in touch with a circle of close friends and spoke about an intervention, especially since CT always talk about mental health period SMH. instead they sat up there and mocked that man. I have lost friends who are no longer with us because they were acting out in the same way similar to Tyrese, and a lot of people cut them off. he never acted funny towards me, I always kept talking to him up until the day he died, in fact he called me as he was dying from an overdose, and even at that point he still was too embarrassed to tell me what was really happening! he just told me he was sick and needed a ride to the hospital. I was shocked when I found out the next day he had died from an overdose and his girlfriend sat there and watched it happened! And put it like this, brakes were certainly beat, not just off the girlfriend but also her mom and her chad of her dad that had the audacity to attack one of my friend's adult daughters at his service. His girlfriend was the same age of several his adult daughters were! I wish I would have known that he was struggling with the drug addiction cause I would have stepped up and tried to get him to quit, although he knew that about me. I worked as a substance used in order therapist for a long time, I was even the manager of a program here at group health hospital before they got bought by kaiser. But I known him since high school and he was really trying to lie and act like he was doing good in life. Speak up and speak out and look out for changes and your friends behav your coming to red flags with my friend was that he quit coming over, I chopped that up to him dating a younger girl and he knew I didn't approve of it - and the fact that he refused to come out the house to kick it. Then he told me that he had a brain tumor and that he needed to borrow $300 DMing me at a weird hour. that was another red flag! It's really easy to brush people off. We gotta do better if we want this thing to reflect well back on this, this thing meaning our life that we lived.

Just saw this interview, but I felt the need to still comment. I truly felt that all he went through, especialmente his divorce, made Tyrese rise and mature versus fall and break! Send you much love and support. Hopefully, the women who once was your wife, will move past resentment, anger, attacks and also mature through this, for the sake of the child! ❤ Tyrese, I feel you! 😪 I can see it in your eyes, you were broken, shaken, and you were finding your new you! Everyone and anyone in your circle got a taste of what you were going through, and you found out who were true friends or family. However, I also know that if God still wants certain people in your life they will come back! They will show up! You must move past that place of hating everyone and everything. ❤

think most people are praising Tyrese too quick. He is an actor and its something about a man and about ANYONE who's always crying victim. Everyone is saying tyrese is right because envy and CTG didnt show him grace. But not realizing they stepped back because Tyrese did something to them personally (wasting time and disrespect envy wife) its actually a low blow for Tyrese to say "i hung in there with yall through yall broken relationships". That's because those were incidents that had NOTHING to do with tyrese. Their martial issues is not them attacking or disrespecting Tyrese. Yes he was there for that but they never said thats why they backed off of him. Not for his marital issues but for him disrespecting envy wife and him having CTG come there and not taking accountability that even if the guy "ran off with the film" that was time CTG couldn't get back. Understandable but Tyrese act like he never wanted to say that in the end. Yall letting tyrese finnesse. And i dont even like envy like that but that part going over most yall heads. You cant be weirs and disrespectful to people and be like my bad. It wasnt that bad. Yall wives forgave yall! Well you not they wives mf lol. Borderline narcissistic
