This is the actual type of army I am building. The infantry with weapons teams (mortars, bolters, pad canons) and sentinels (all lascanon). His idea being that the only armour they can bring at most is chimera support.

Giving me huge Winters SEO vibes, which is definitely not a bad thing, I love his batreps. I am painting a nids army myself, big focus on warriors (and a trygon once that's back in stock). But I am having big trouble picking a colour scheme. I have tried like 8 already and none of them do it for me. How did you pick yours? they look nice

Thank you! A comparison to Winters SEO is definitely a compliment! I went with my colors for a couple reasons. I knew I wanted them to be earthy tones and have a more "natural" color palette than some of the official Hive Fleets. I was leaning toward browns and black, but, ultimately, I went with brown as a bit of an homage to the alien race The Brood from the X-Men comics. I will note that I almost ended up making them with white instead of brown because it looked so good after I had painted the yellow on the claws and teeth prior to doing the brown. The white really made the claws pop.

Good to see an infantry based guard army. I thought your Tyranid army needs more bodies for Tempest of War to achieve objectives.When you are relying on going first ,to me , that is a bad strategy.

Small rules thing, the cadian exploding 6s only applies to the cadian shock troops unit and only applies to their las guns.stuff like the mortars and sentinals shouldn't of had exploding 6s. :)

I'm a little confused at 13:32 at what's being rolled for ? I thought it was stated it was the sentinels with multilasers shooting. But why were so many dice rerolled at one point ? 6s autowound and shouldn't explode from born soldiers

Not all Cadian units get the Shock Troops exploded 6s is what you are pointing out. We missed that for sure.

I like your vids ? But when ranged weapons can hit everything no matter where they are on the battlefied ? Then it's really a one way battle.... maybe say lowest level of ruins are closed ? .... Or else it's 1 way battle.. 😅.. ooh and move + advance your zoanthropes with buff from neothrope so they can smite a Walker... nevar smite units wich you wanna charge..

No one can tell me warriors are shit now. Ever. They didn’t get nerfed, they got balanced lmaoo.
